Program
Signature Program
The Canadel Signature program is designed to allow
customers to modify our existing products to satisfy
their home furnishing needs with Canadel products.
Request a quote,
we will find a way to make it happen!
Since the Signature Program is custom, each request
must be submitted to Canadel on the Signature request
form, this will allow us to determine if the modifications
are possible and quote appropriately.
What to expect from the
Signature program
1.
To obtain a quote, please use the request form, this will allow
a better understanding of the desired products and will be
less time consuming for both parties (page ).
2.
Canadel Furniture will not provide any drawings or 3D images
of requested items.
3.
Every quote must be signed and returned with a PO. Just
sending a PO order is not sufficient.
4.
Cancellations, changes or holds are NOT PERMITTED.
5.
An additional 2- weeks delivery time may be necessary,
since items are custom.
3.
Items that are judged unstable or dangerous.
4.
Alteration of finishes.
5.
Back panel of sample boards cannot be reproduced.

Rescaling a chair, stool and bench.

Resizing of legs and pedestals
2.
Aprons cannot be completely flush with the table top, a ¼
inch gap is needed to allow wood expansion and shrinking.
3.
Champlain and Loft have exclusive legs and bases. They
cannot be requested in a matte finish and/or without natural
wood defects.

4. Wood lengthwise is available up to 96 inches on table tops in
the Champlain and Loft collection only.
Rescaling a storage piece.

Explanation of limitations.
The issue is related to the cost effectiveness of creating/rescaling
products. The high development costs are spread out on regular
items through sales volume of new items over years, compared to
Signature items that may generate only one order.
1.
Case pieces
Changing hardware from one piece to another.
2. Wood doors instead of glass doors or vice-versa.
3. Adding shelves.
4. Changing glass shelves for wooden shelves or vice versa.
5. Adding LED lights.
Signature suggestions
The following modifications are frequently requested on our
produtcs. A Signature request may be submitted for anything not
mentioned below, we will quote and determine feasibility.
A
1.
General
More than one finish/color on one item (ex: Distress and
matte finish).
2. Finish from a collection on an item from another collection
(ex: Distress finish on a Loft item).
B
Chairs
1.
Adding or changing nail heads on upholstered chairs.
2. More than 2 fabrics on one chair.
3. Adding arms on a chair, which originally doesn’t offer the
option.
C
Tables
1.
Resizing of table tops.
2. Choice of wood type for table tops (Champlain, Loft or
regular).
3. Mixing options from one collection to another (Champlain
table top with a Canadel leg in a distressed finish).
NB: Occasionals are considered either tables or buffets, depending
on the selected piece.
Using the request form

Construction type
Each Canadel collection has different features; the position of the
table aprons and the location of the table leaf (middle or each
end).
Canadel
Table aprons are 1 ⅜ inches inside the table edge, leaves are in
the center.
Champlain
Table aprons are 2 ¼ inches inside the table edge, leaves on each
end.
Loft
No table aprons and leaves.
High Style
Table aprons are ¼ inches inside the table edge, leaves are in the
center.

Select a leg or base from any collection (refer to the UDesign or
catalogs).
