2015 Tm2 Week 2 - Lincoln Heights School

Principal’s Message
!
Kia ora everyone
What a wonderful commemoration of ANZAC day last Friday at our
special assembly. Our appreciation to all involved, and special thanks
to John Ross (Swanson RSA representative), Jack Harris (war
veteran), Trena Lile for the loan of a “5000 poppies” wall hanging (do
have a look in the hall as this is only on loan until this Friday), R27
and Mrs Mann, as well as Ethan, Maddison and Hayden (with the
support of family) for representing our school with pride at the
Swanson RSA ceremony on ANZAC day. Lest we forget.
A huge thank you to the staff, parents and friends of the school, New
Lynn and Waitakere Rotary Groups who worked with us on the
Community Garden project. You gave up your time so generously
and so much was achieved, despite the torrential rain. The garden
beds are looking fantastic and we can’t wait for the next stage in their
development.
