NATALIE DORMER
So what else is she up to?
N
atalie Dormer is a mega
star, most famous for her
role as Margaery Tyrell
in the HBO series ‘Game of
Thrones’.
EOB, along with many fans,
were able to ask Natalie a few
questions on Reddit!
“If you had to pick one Game
of Thrones character you
would want to see survive all
the way to the end (besides
Margaery), who would you
choose?”
“Arya Stark”
“How was your role as Cressida
in the Hunger Games similar
to your experience playing
Margaery Tyrell in Game of
Thrones?”
“I loved how physical the role
was for playing Cressida, and
that she’s all about her job.
“It was fun to play someone
who works the other side of
the camera... They’re both very
PR-savvy, that’s what they have
in common, they both know
how to manipulate hearts &
minds. So there’s a trend, a
theme there between the two
of them.”
She played Cressida in ‘The
Hunger Games’ films, Pvt. Lorraine in ‘Captain America: The
First Avenger’, and Sara Price in
her latest film ‘The Forest’.
It’s a film about a supernatural
Japanese suicide forest, where
she tries to find her twin sister.
Spooky!
“What was the scariest thing
about filming the forest?”
“Being in the forest where
there’s no wifi or cell phone
connectivity. For a 21st century
girl, that’s pretty scary! LOL!”
Natalie will be appearing in the
upcoming film Patient Zero. A
thriller about humans fighting
a super virus! It will be out in
2017, and we look forward to it!
KIT HARINGTON
H
e knows nothing.
Well for a long time, Kit
Harington was the only
one to know he was coming
back! Jon Snow is back!
“He’s done with it. He’s seen
the other side, seen what’s
there, and comes back and
realises he needs to lead
his life and get out of there.
This place betrayed him, and
everything he stood for has
changed. Plus, he had to kill a
child, Olly, and... he can’t see
the point in being up there
anymore.”
But how did he go so many
months lying to everyone?!
Thankfully, our friends at
Entertainment Weekly got Kit
Harington to answer a few
burning questions about the
whole ‘Jon Snow is dead’ situation.
“How did you feel when you
read the scene where Jon was
killed off?”
“I thought that would have
been an awful way to go. I
wasn’t ready to say goodbye
to Thrones. I don’t mind the
idea of dying in this series, I
just felt like his journey wasn’t
done.”
Gwendoline Christie (Brienne
of Tarth) didn’t think they
would kill that character, and
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark)
even wrote Kit a long heartfelt
goodbye letter!
“What does the ending of
Oathbreaker [Season 6,
Episode 3] mean?”
What else is Kit doing? Have
you heard of Doctor Faustus?
It’s a thrilling, bloody, and gory
West End play receiving good
reviews, and Kit is the star of
the show.
Don’t be afraid to look it up.
We definitely are fans of Kit,
no matter what role he plays!

THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING SINGLE
ARTICLE BY ISAAC OURO
I
t’s been a busy year so far
for Rebel Wilson. The Hollywood funny lady is currently
starring in two new comedy
films – ‘How To Be Single’ and
‘The Brothers Grimsby’– plus
she will be appearing in the
upcoming ‘Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie’.
In ‘How To Be Single’, Rebel
plays Robin, a really lusty,
gorgeous and sarcastic blonde,
who when not whizzing around
New York or chugging booze,
offers advice to her female
friends.
So what better an actress to
tell us about the best things
about being single!
10
EOBFeed
“Doing like whatever you want
and also not having to share a
bed so you can just like relax,”
she says.
“You don’t have to listen to
somebody snoring and stuff,
which would drive me crazy.
But yeah, I like doing whatever
I want to do whenever I want,
which is not very compromising but it is fun!”
And Watford agrees! Brian
Dermott puts it simply – “Freedom”.
People on Watford’s high
street were all for it! Imogen
Howell is a big fan of the “no
commitment” mantra, and she
says being able to do whatever
she wants, when she wants is
a big plus.
“I can concentrate on
my business.
No drama. Stress free
life. No kids.”
– Haroon
Being single also means a lot
of dates. There are dozens of
apps out there making it so
easy to find yourself a date
nowadays. And your dates
are probably never what you
expect.
For Rebel, being asked out is
the worst part about dating.
“Well, weirdly because I think
I screen them well, like, for
example when I first moved to
Hollywood, a lot of homeless
men would ask me out,” she
says giggling.
“Like weirdly, African American
homeless men must have been
my demographic. Because one
guy came up, he had no shoes.
But see, those guys I would
never go out with.”
WHY BE SINGLE? WATFORD SAYS...
YASMIN
I can concentrate on work and go
out without any worries!
SAHA
You can go out without someone
on your back. No arguments, just
calm.
HARRY
The best thing I remember about
being single is there’s no moaning,
just enjoying life.
MATTHEW
I’m free to look elsewhere!
During her time as a singleton
in Australia, people went as
far as chatting her up through
Facebook – which she had to
get rid of after being hacked.

“I used to also get it in
Australia, this is when I had a
Facebook - because now I can’t
have it because it got hacked
into and stuff - people from
prison would write to me,” she
says.
“This one guy wrote to me and
I clicked on the picture, and on
the very top when you enlarge
the picture you could see the
barbed wire.
“And of course you don’t go
out with the crazies.
“I wish I had some hilarious
story but you don’t actually
go out with them because it
would lead to some sort of
crazy situation.”
EOBFeed
11
B
eing famous certainly helps her case.
She meets loads and loads of people,
“snakey or nice” as she puts it. Even
famously partying with Justin Bieber! But
surprisingly, even though most of the roles
she plays are crazy party types, she never
drinks.
“My Nana was an alcoholic so I sort of
abstained. I was like, ‘Maybe addiction
runs in my family.’ And I don’t want that
for my life,” she says. “So I will be out and
I might have one drink but that’s it. And
I always drive places as well so you can’t
get smashed.
“It’s very Australian as well, to be a
drinker. And yeah, like I am fun like that.
Recently I had a big night in Las Vegas
with Justin Bieber and you just get overwhelmed and you just start partying. So
I do have times when I’ll be crazy but the
majority of the time I’m just normal.”
Self-esteem
Confidence is something that drives
Rebel. And just like her character in How
To Be Single, she thinks it’s important
for people to know themselves.
“I think I was lucky. I went to an all-girls
high school which I think was very beneficial to girls in my area because I had
cousins who didn’t, and they ended up
having kids at like 15 or 16, that kind of
thing. Whereas because I was trapped in
this all girls prison,” she says laughing,
“we really focused on developing our
own skills and abilities.”
Inclusiveness helped Rebel be more
comfortable within herself. Playing
sports and not caring about it being a
“boy’s thing” made her who she is.
12
EOB MAGAZINE
“You could study any subject, do creative arts and stuff and you didn’t wear
make-up. And I think it was really good
because then you learn what you’re passionate about and what you’re good at.
If you have that, you have a little bit of
self-confidence and self-esteem so that
when you go out into the real world, you
kind of know yourself more and what
your worth is.”
“It’s sad when you see a lot of girls that
don’t know their worth,” she says, “and
then they go out and make terrible life
choices. For guys as well it’s the same
thing. But everyone is good at something so find out what that is and then
have confidence in that.”
Aside from acting, Rebel has her own
clothing line for plus-size retailer Torrid
and her latest collection for Spring 2016 is
in stores now.
“I never thought I’d be designing clothes,”
she says. “It’s called Rebel Wilson for Torrid. And Torrid is like probably the biggest
plus-size brand here, they have 400 stores
in America and really big online sales.
“This spring collection is all denims and
whites and like white lace and stuff. And
the collection I did for Thanksgiving was
kind of more red for the holidays and
blacks.”
The fashion label was released last year
and has been hot ever since, giving curvier
women more fashion options.
“I want curvy
women to be
confident and
not ashamed of
how they look.”

CELEBRITY PHOBIAS
ARTICLE BY ZOE CUPIT
CHANNING TATUM: PEDIOPHOBIA - FEAR OF DOLLS
Some people are afraid of dolls as
they are linked to parts of witchcraft,
however other people find it’s caused by
a negative or traumatic incident in their
past or childhood.
Channing Tatum is afraid of porcelain
dolls, to be exact.
“I just think they’re freaky! They have,
like, real eyes! I just imagine when I walk
by them, their heads turn with you the
whole time!”
ADELE: LARIDAPHOBIA - FEAR OF SEAGULLS
Adele has a fear of seagulls. The singer
confessed that she was attacked by
one at a young age, and since then she
has had a fear of all seagulls.
Adele still has a scar from the attack
to this day!
“I thought it was going to take me away
with it. I’ve got a phobia of seagulls!”.

OPRAH WINFREY: CHICLEPHOBIA - FEAR OF CHEWING GUMS
Oprah Winfrey is best known for hosting
her popular talk show from 1986 to 2011.
She is also an actress, philanthropist,
publisher and producer.
She hates the sound of chewing gum, so
much that she had chewing gums banned
from the building where she does her
show.
“One guest in my home sat at the dinner
table, took out some gum from her mouth
and put it on her plate - after she left, I
threw the plate out.”
JOHNNY DEPP: COULROPHOBIA - FEAR OF CLOWNS
Johnny Depp has played a bunch of weird
characters in his life but we will never see
him play as a clown.
Weirdly enough, to ward off the evil, he
surrounds himself with clown equipment.
Interestingly, Daniel Radcliffe also shares
the same phobia.
“Something about the painted face, the
fake smile, there always seemed to be a
darkness lurking just under the surface, a
potential for real evil.”

THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT PROTEIN
ARTICLE BY CHLOE JOYCE
E
ven if you think that protein
is healthy, you can still become fat from it. Any excess
protein will ultimately be stored
as fat. And constantly using protein can cause you to gain weight!
Using protein doesn’t mean it is
a freebie to eat what you want.
No matter what you eat, you are
going to gain weight. Keep on top
of the amount of fat in the foods
with protein, and eat a balanced
diet.
There is actually a thing called
“Too much protein”
Sounds silly but serious effects
can actually come from this. If
that protein bottle says not to go
over the amount of grams, stick
to it!
20
EOBFeed
This can lead to organ problems,
kidney failure, increase your risk
for heart disease, and even some
cancers. And you definitely don’t
want that!
Some protein drinks are full of
crap
The process of making powdered
protein is often really bad. This
powder is heated to a high
temperature and some companies
that make this stuff add artificial
ingredients to their products.
And some of these ingredients,
like arsenic, cadmium, and lead,
are toxic and too much of it can
damage your body.
Eating loads of protein won’t
build tons of muscle
Your body can only use about 20
to 25 grams of protein in one dose
so drowning yourself in protein
shakes and sliding protein bars
down your throat isn’t going to
give you muscles!
You won’t see results without
exercise!
Take your protein AFTER a work
out
After you’ve done that hardcore
workout to the point your legs are
shaking, your arms are burning,
that’s when you need protein!
Maybe you don’t know or you do
know, but you’ve been ripping
muscle fibres. And that protein
shake helps to pull them back
together.
ITALIAN MEALS PERFECT FOR THE SUMMER
F
ARTICLE BY ANNALISA SHARPE
oodies! Get your hands on these tasty Italian
meals and you won’t regret it!
You must fancy a bit of Italian food sometimes.
So next time you’re at a restaurant, whisper these
dishes to the waiter and tuck into the best thing
you’ll ever eat!
Here are 3 Italian dishes you need to tuck into!
INSALATA DI MARE
A large mixed fresh salad with
various mixed sea food (Mare = Sea)
including octopus, shrimp, calamari,
and lots of others.
This is a nice, refreshing dish, tasting
its best during the summer.
LINGUINE MARINARA
Mixed seafood and tomatoes. Normally
this comes with vongole (clam), mussels
and Tegliatelle pasta.
This is tasty but you won’t notice much
because you spend most of the time
trying to open the mussels!
RAVIOLI AURORA
Spinach and ricotta ravioli, with
mushrooms, tomatoes and a touch
of mascarpone.
Again, a light small dish (Ravioli is
very filling!) but best served with
grana padano (hard semi-fat
cheese) on top.

www.mercedes-benz.com
he Mercedes-Benz F 15 is a luxury concept car that wants to redefine driving, to be the
car of the future. But what’s so great about self-driving cars?
PROS
Drunk driving incidents will decrease due to
the car driving on its own.
People who are walking on the streets
would be safer as algorithms detect when to
make the car stop without hitting an object.
CONS
The Auto Insurance Centre said that the
sensors alone would be under £70,000! So
we’re looking at a very expensive car!
If there’s an accident, how do we decide
who is responsible? The car? Or the person?
The car takes care of the driver. The electronics which control can drive and stop
itself instead of you personally and physically driving.
Heavy rain could do damage to the car’s
self-drive sensor which will be very costly
for the driver to repair.
There is a lot more luxury. You can relax
while the car drives you to where you need
to go.
Self-driven cars will most likely be electric
so the gasoline industry would lose a lot of
business.

BIOWARE
A HISTORY OF
ARTICLE BY PORTIA ROHM
B
ioware was created on February 1 1995 down in
one of the founders’ Basement. It all started with
their debut titled Shattered Steel, a Mech (a big
ugly suit of tank-like armour) style action simulator
game.
It takes place in a desolate future where you need to
save your species from a group of organic, mechanical
alien invaders.
Shattered Steel’s Demo created a big buzz. Interplay
Productions, a game publisher, instantly saw Bioware’s
potential and snapped them up on a multi-game agreement.
Shattered Steel released in October 1996 doing well,
but it would be what Bioware developed next that
would forever remain in the history of video gaming.
Bioware released a Dungeons and Dragons influenced
game called Baldur’s Gate in the year of 1998, and it
quickly sold around 2 million copies!

Bioware had a choice: To work on a Star Wars
Episode II game or make a game set 4000
years before that. The team chose the second
option as it would give them more creative
freedom.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was
born. Finally! A game where I can go around
pretending to be a badass lightsaber wielding,
force using, ass-kicking Jedi. And let me tell
you it delivered! It received over 40 Game of
the Year awards, FOURTY!
Now to late 2007 when Bioware released their
first game of a trilogy to come; Mass Effect, an
action role-playing game, where once again
you must save your race from alien scum! Well
now, that sounds familiar doesn’t it?
Critics and fans crawled out of their basements and claimed Bioware “revitalised the
computer role-playing game genre”. A sequel
quickly followed. Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows
of Amn excited fans, selling over 2 million
copies!
By 2000, Interplay Productions was no longer
in a position to publish games due to financial
difficulties, so guess who took over? ATARI!
Great! We have a company who are good at
making video games and they get picked up
by the guys who did the worst game ever
made. Two letters: E.T. Thankfully Atari just
left Bioware alone.
In July 2000 Lucas Arts contacted Bioware
about making a role-playing Star Wars game,

Not long after its release, Bioware was
snatched up by Electronic Arts. Under evil
overlord EA, Bioware began work on Dragon
Age: Origins. It’s got Dragon in the title. Of
course it was awesome! It became a trilogy
too, because all good things come in threes.
Or fours?... Fives? Actually when you think
about it, all good things just keep coming!
Success continued over the next 5 years with
the releases of Mass Effect 2 & 3, and Dragon
Age to name a few. And did you say more
dragons?! In 2014 the company released the
third Dragon Age called Dragon Age: Inquisition. It was full of dragons (obviously!), skilful
storytelling, beautiful soundtracks, stunning
environments and engaging combat.
Mass Effect fans, don’t worry. There will be
another Mass Effect game in your hands by
2017.
Bioware have created games where we can
kill mechs, kill dragons, demons and undead,
kill siths and kill aliens. Here’s a prediction.
Bioware, RPG, Dinosaurs. How cool would that
be?!

Hamill.
VAAS MONTENEGRO
“Do you know the definition of Insanity?” was and
still is one of the greatest gaming quotes of all

The villain from Far Cry 3 has a massive army at his
disposal. And he is a powerful antagonist involved
in a major plot twist! It’s worth buying the game
for.
The Joker has a crazy and sadistic personality that
makes him do so much at random. It makes him so
unpredictable and it always keeps you at the edge He seems to have a creepy attitude. The way he
can just snap and then just go back to normal in
