DrInks N.V. SPARKLING G B Paul Louis Sparkling Blanc de Blancs 10 37 The Loire Valley is the largest producer of sparkling outside of Champagne. Made using the champion of Loire, chenin blanc, this bubbly is vibrant, zesty with a crisp dry finish. 2014 Pizzini Prosecco 11 39 From the home of Prosecco in Victoria, the King Valley. The colour is light, the nose is bright, with length and balance in spades. Little peachy truth be told. N.V. Dominique Portet Brut Rosé Bottle Only 52 Salmon Pink pantone colouring with no tongue of fish. Though it would go terrifically well with the Market Fish o Day. Fresh strawberries, rose petals with a fresh, dry and creamy finish. Brut Rosé is the new champers! 2014 WHITE WINE G B S.Y.P. 'Monster’s Attack' Riesling 10 40 This Riesling from the Clare Valley doesn't put sugar on its Weetbix; it's sweet enough! This wine comes complete with a heavenly perfumed nose and spicy palate. 2015 Riesling Freak 'No. 3' Clare Valley 10.5 42 Situated in a sub-region of the Clare, White Hut. Ripe lemons & limes, musk, and even a smidge of mint on the nose. Dry, with a little tongue zizz. Clearly the awards came because it is delicious! 2014 Adelina Arneis 12 48 An example of a slightly more refined wine from the dudes at Some Young Punks. Arneis means “little rascal” in the Piedmontese dialect and this is a seriously savoury/earthy rendition of that site and grape. Be naughty and give it a try. It is like a bread breaking rustic meal, but wine.... 2015 WHITE WINE CONT' G B Cake Sauvignon Blanc 9.5 36 From the Adelaide Hills – the year was brilliant. The nose, flavoursome. Passionfruit and citrus taste. Clean and crisp tongue. It loves to be quaffed! 2015 Cake Pinot Gris 10 37 It’s a tweeny from Adelaide Hills. Slightly lighter than a full blooded Gris. Crisp, fresh oak exposure of a grigio. Little bit of peach. Little bit of lime. Lovely delicate white. 2014 Habitat Pinot Grigio 9 32 Hints of pear and apple in this little drop. Soft texture, with a slight green apple acidity on the finish. Clean, and refreshing little wine 2014 Babo Pinot Grigio 12 46 This Grigio shows all the hallmarks of classic Italian Pinot Grigio with grapefruit, pear with white floral aromas and flavours. Dry as toast in the best wine way! 2013 Abellio Albarino 11 42 From the north-western corner of Spain, this aromatic grape produces a silky wine that is very distinctive. The bouquet shows intense fruit with highlights of pear, apple and peach. Harmony and zest in a glass. Hairy and my personal fav! 2015 Geppetto Chardonnay 9.5 34 Can’t say it better than the vineyard – “ good honest value and not tricked up with heavy oaks”. Another fine wine from Crittenden’s Estate, Mornington Peninsula. I’m a fan. 2013 Caledonia Australis Chardonnay 12 48 New to our fridges and a big - WOW! Multi layered, little citrus bomb, with a savoury flinty tongue. Tastes like a classic chardy, feels like a new one. It’s from Gippsland and feel the label 2014 Toolangi Chardonnay 11.5 Mild1y toasty with subtle oak and great crunch. If you thought you didn’t like chardy give this a whirl. You will be surprised. It's not the box of chardy my ex sister in law thought was aces..... 45 ROSÉ 2015 Dominique Portet 'Fontaine' Rosé G B 10.5 42 Embrace the Rose revolution! Jump the "Savvy B" ship to this delightful pink cousin. Red berry nose. A delicious dry, elegant and savoury tongue. Super pretty. 2015 Spinifex Rosé 11.5 46 The perfect spring/summer wine. Lightly dry and refreshing with bunches of flavour. A hint of Provence from SA. Put it in your face. 2014 RED WINE G B Crittenden Estate 'Peninsula' Pinot Noir 13 52 Trifurcates the middle road of fruit, complexity and structure. From Victoria's very own Mornington Peninsula. Ruby red, soft tannins with a lovely finish. 2014 Cake Pinot Noir 10 37 This year was slightly warmer in Adelaide Hills, bringing out black cherry cheer and dark fruit flavours. A round, full bottomed Noir. 2011 Pizzini Nebbiolo Bottle Only 79 Folks, it is not just the taste of this wine that overwhelms, it is the sense of well being that descends upon you with the first mouthful. If you could bottle a fireplace, a cashmere sweater, some cushion filled leather sofas and your favourite company – it would be this wine. The perfect sitch in a bottle. Red cherry, plums, sturdy tannins with a bright liquorice finish. 2014 Pinocchio Sangiovese 10.5 42 An admirably long finish that is both tart and refreshing with firm tannins. Cherries, with the fine upstanding character of a true Sangiovese. Get on it! 2014 Los Hermanos 'Homenaje' Tempranillo 13 52 A Victorian produced Catalonian inspired wine combining tempranillo for rich berry fruit plus mataro and garnacha for the spice and elegance. It means twins, and it makes peeps dance - close and sexy! 2013 RED WINE CONT' G B Cirillo Vincent Grenache 10 37 These vines have 80 years of bunkering down near Eden Valley in the Barossa to bring you this incredibly vibrant, fresh, juicy wine. It has a savoury and earthy spice finish; is completely more-ish and begs for another glass! Also zippo preservatives. 2014 Maxwell 'Little Demon' Shiraz Grenache 9 32 New fav combo. Little bit o' spice and little bit o' smooth. Cherry and blueberry aromas from the grenache, compliment the Mclaren Vale shiraz. Named after a famous 1871 Scottish scientist, James Clerk Maxwell. Google him.... 2014 Cake Cabernet Sauvignon 10 37 From the Cab Sauv heartland of S.A. Blackberries, cassis and tomato leaf. The tannins are tight and the fruit sweetness plump and ripe. A warm hug in a glass! 2013 Howard Park 'Miamup' Cabernet Sauvignon 12 48 Excellent wine… excellent vintage. This baby has all the hallmarks of the right grape in the right place. Cassis, dark fruits and cedar oak on the nose, combined with an intense and driven palate of dark fruit to create the winning combo! 2012 Voyager Estate 'Girt by Sea' Cabernet Merlot 11 44 So 62% Cab Sauvignon, 31% Merlot & 7% Shiraz. It is "deep and complex with poise, grace and generosity" - so the word in wine and ballet circuits goes. Value rhymes with excellent. 2014 Cake Shiraz 10 37 Bugger me if these wines are not just spot on for every varietal. We are very happy to serve this as our house red shiraz. Little bit of spice, deep flavour. 2008 Mr Jone's Cabernet Merlot 9 32 Exactly as you need it. Little plum on the nose. Smooth, but crunch on the palette. Soft, subtle finish. 2013 Chateau Tanunda Bethanian Shiraz 13 54 Repeated tastings made this a must have. Berries everywhere. Hint of spice and black pepper with an elegant finish. 18 months of incubating in froggie and yankie oak barrels. Just a treat all round. 2014 Teusner 'The Independent' Shiraz Mataro 11.5 45 Big, bold, brassy, dark and aromatic. It screams Barossa Valley and begs to be drunk. Great fruit is what this wine is all about with a lovely tinge of vanilla oak. And this vintage is better than the last!
