General Rules
Games
1. There will be a total of 7 games played
2. Cheating in any form is prohibited and will result in an immediate
disqualification from that particular game
3. In the event of a dispute, all decisions by the Planning Committee are final
Participation
1. Players are allowed to participate in more than one game, as long as the
games do not clash in timing
2. Each House is to field the required number of players for each game according
to each game’s rules
3. The team that each House sends for each game must only comprise of
members from that House
4. The team that each House for each game sends must only comprise of
members who are currently residing in Tembusu College
5. If a House is unable to field the required number of representatives for a
particular game, that House will immediately forfeit that particular game
6. In the event of a dispute, all decisions by the Planning Committee are final
Scoring
1. The House with the highest total points will be declared the winner
2. Subsequent rankings will be based on total points obtained
3. In the event of a tie, the winning House will be decided by comparing the
number of each position each House obtained in the following order:
a. Number of 1st Positions
b. Number of 2nd positions
c. Number of 3rd positions
d. Number of 4th positions
e. Number of 5th positions
4. The point system will be as follows in the table below
5. In the event of a dispute, all decisions by the Planning Committee are final

Dota 2
Players
7. Each house will nominate a team of 5 players.
Gameplay
1. Preliminary matches will be played in a round-robin scoring (A total of 4
matches will be played by each team).
2. The top 2 teams from the preliminary stage will proceed to the finals.
3. The match will be played in Captains Mode.
4. Winner of the coin toss will decide either First Pick/Ban or Radiant/Dire.
5. The match ends when either:
a. A team calls for GG (Good Game).
b. A team has managed to destroy the opposite team’s Ancient.
6. Each team is expected to arrive 5 minutes before their match, and set up
shortly afterwards.
7. In the event of a server crash, game will be loaded from saved game function,
or the match will be either restarted with the same draft.
8. The Finals will be a BO3 match to determine the winner.
Scoring
1. Teams are awarded 1 point for a win, and no points for a loss.
2. At the end of the preliminaries, the rankings of the five houses will be
determined by their total score, with the top two placing being determined by
the finals (irrespective of their preliminary score).
3. Ties will be broken in the following order:
a. Winner of the tie will be determined by a BO1 match.
b. The BO1 match(s) will be played on Day 2 of the Preliminaries (allocated
time slot).
Counter Strike
Players
1. Each house will nominate a team of 5 players.
2. 1 of the 5 players must be a female.
Gameplay
1. Preliminary matches will be played in a round-robin scoring (A total of 4
matches will be played by each team).
2. The top 2 teams from the preliminary stage will proceed to the finals.
3. Each Match consists of BO3 sets (each set consists of a total of 5 rounds, first
team to win 3 rounds will win the set).
4. For every match, the map for the first set will be fixed as de_dust2.
5. Winner of the coin toss will be able to choose their side (Either CounterTerrorist or Terrorist).
6. The Loser of the set will be able to decide the map and sides for the next set.
7. The choice maps are as follows: de_dust, de_train, de_aztec, cs_office, cs_italy.
8. Each player will start with $10,000.
9. The round will end when either all the players from one team are killed, or the
objective is completed in the round duration (either bombing a site, or rescuing
hostages).
10. Each round’s duration is set at 2:30.
11. Sv_cheats will not be allowed.
12. No bunny hopping, and sky-walking in any maps is forbidden (violation of rules
will lead to disqualification of round).
13. The Finals will consist of BO3 sets (each set consist of a total of 7 rounds)
Scoring

2. At the end of the preliminaries, the rankings of the five houses will be
determined by their total score, with the top two placing being determined by
the finals (irrespective of their preliminary score).
3. Ties will be broken in the following order:
a. Winner of the tie will be decided by another round of BO3 sets (each set
is 5 rounds)
b. The BO3 sets will be played on Day 2 of the Preliminaries (allocated time
slot).
Console Games
Mario Kart
Players
1. Each house may nominate either 1 or 2 players.
2. Each round will be played by 4 players, 1 per house.
3. If there are two players from a particular house, they may substitute players
between rounds. No assistance may be offered by the second player during a
round.
Gameplay
1. 5 rounds will be played in total
2. Rounds will be played in a round-robin scoring, with 1 team sitting out each
round (teams will play a total of 4 matches)
3. Versus mode will be played, with no CPUs, all vehicles enabled, all items
enabled
4. 4 races will be selected will be played per round, with each team selecting one
race course each
Scoring
1. Points per team will be determined by the in-game point system
2. After all 5 rounds have been played, the rankings of the five houses will be
determined by their total score.
3. Ties will be broken in the following order:
a. Number of times placed 1st
b. Number of times placed 2nd
c. Number of times placed 3rd
d. Number of times placed 4th
e. An additional round with the same settings, except with 2 races instead
of 4
Dance Central
Players
1. Each house may nominate either 1 or 2 players.
Gameplay
1. Preliminary matches will be played round-robin
2. Each match, preliminaries and finals, will consist of a BO3
3. Winner of the coin toss will decide the first song’s in-game difficulty rating,
loser of the coin toss will decide the first song according to the difficulty rating
4. The loser of each round will get to pick the next song without any restrictions
Scoring
1. Teams are awarded 1 point for a win, and no points for a loss.
2. At the end of the preliminaries, the rankings of the five houses will be
determined by their total score, with the top two placing being determined by
the finals (irrespective of their preliminary score).
3. Ties will be broken according to which team won the match the two teams that
are tied played during the preliminaries
Boardgames
Supply Chess
Players
1. Each house will nominate a team of 2 players.
Gameplay
1. Preliminary matches will be played round-robin.
2. The top 2 teams from the preliminary stage will proceed to the finals.
3. Standard international chess rules
(http://www.fide.com/component/handbook/?id=124&view=article) apply
unless otherwise stated.
4. Each match will be played by 4 players in two teams of 2; each team sits facing
the opponent team, with partners sitting next to each other and one player per
team has white while the other has black.
5. Captured pieces are passed to their partner’s reserve.
a. All reserve pieces must be kept in full view of the opponent.
b. Promoted pawns are converted back to pawns when captured.
6. Reserves can be deployed during a turn on any vacant square instead of moving
a piece.
a. Pawns may not be deployed on the first or last rank; a pawn deployed
on the second rank may move two squares on its first move; deployed
pawns may promote upon reaching the last rank.
b. A deployed piece may deliver a check or a checkmate.
7. The match ends when either game ends.
a. A game is won when a player is checkmate, resigns, or forfeits on time.
b. A game is drawn when two players from opposing teams runs out of
time simultaneously (within 5 sec), is checkmated simultaneously
(within the same turn), or by agreement.
8. A player cannot delay their move beyond the time it takes their player to make
3 moves.
9. Timing will be Bronstein delay, with 15 min main time and 5 sec delay time.
10. Clock move applies: a move is only considered after the clock is pressed;
touching of pieces is allowed.
11. Threefold repetition rule applies: a player may claim a draw if the same
position occurs three times, or will occur after their next move, with the same
player to move. Reserve pieces are not taken into account.
Scoring

loss.
2. At the end of the preliminaries, the rankings of the five houses will be
determined by their total score, with the top two placings being determined by
the finals (irrespective of their preliminary score).
3. Ties will be broken in the following order:
a. Greatest total number of games won;
b. Greatest number of games won as black;
c. Greatest total remaining time.
BANG!
Players
1. Each house may nominate either 1 or 2 players.
3. Each round will be played by 5 players, 1 from each house.
4. If there are two players from a particular house, they may substitute players
between rounds. No assistance may be offered by the second player during a
round.
Gameplay
1. 5 rounds will be played in total.
2. Standard ruleset (http://www.dvgiochi.net/bang/bang_rules.pdf)
supplemented by the official FAQ
(http://www.dvgiochi.net/bang/bang_faq_eng.pdf) applies unless otherwise
stated.
3. Each house will take turns to play as sheriff once each, with the remaining 4
roles (Deputy, 2 Outlaws, Renegade) distributed randomly. The order of sheriff
shall be assigned randomly.
Scoring
1. At the end of each round, each player gains the following amount of points:
a. If the Sheriff wins:
i. the Sheriff wins $3000;
ii. the Deputies win $2000 if they survived, and $1400 if they died;
iii. the Renegade wins $2000 if he died last, leaving the Sheriff alive
alone.
b. If the Outlaws win:
i. the Renegade, if he is still alive at the end of the game, wins
$1500;
ii. the Outlaws, if they are alive, win $2000; otherwise they win
$1600.
c. If the Renegade wins:
i. the Sheriff wins $500;
ii. the Renegade wins $7500.
d. Extra Penalty:
i. if a deputy kills a Sheriff, he loses $5000.
2. At the end of the 5 rounds, the rankings of the five houses will be determined
by their total score.
3. Ties will be broken in the following order:
a. Greatest number of games won as the Sheriff;
b. Greatest number of games won as the Renegade;
c. Greatest number of games won as a Deputy;
d. Greatest number of games won as an Outlaw;
e. Highest card drawn from deck at random.
Team Munchkin
Players
1. Each house will nominate a team of 2 players.
2. A single game will be played with all 10 players.
Gameplay
1. Standard ruleset of the baseset
(http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/rules/munchkin_rules.pdf), the official
FAQ (http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/faq/), and the Epic Munchkin rules
(http://www.friendlyfortress.com/uploads/1/7/1/9/17197604/epic_munchkin.
pdf).
2. The seating order will be randomised for the five houses, and then doubled,
resulting in partners sitting opposite each other (A-B-C-D-E-A-B-C-D-E).
3. The game ends when a player reaches level 20; level 19 and 20 may only be
reached by killing a monster, unless a card specifically allows you to win
another way; level 10 no longer requires a kill.
4. Any character Level 10 and above are considered “Epic” and acquire Epic Feats
according to their Class or Race; character that are (or are knocked back to)
Level 9 or below are not “Epic”.
5. When an Epic munchkin kicks down a door, turn over two cards and apply them
as follows;
a. Curses first, in the order the player chooses;
b. Everything else except Rooms, monsters, and monster enhancers, in the
order the player chooses;
c. Rooms. If you drew one Room card, it will apply to the fight. If you drew
TWO, the first one drawn applies and the second goes into the player’s
hand;
d. Monsters and monster bonuses. If there are two monsters, fight them
both. If you draw both a monster and a monster bonus, the bonus
applies to the monster.
6. Modified Charity: If you have more than five cards in your hand, you must play
enough cards to get you to five or below. If you cannot, or do not want to, and
your partner has a lower level than you, you must give the excess cards to him.
If your level is the lower or tied with your partner, just discard the excess.
Scoring
1. The first player to reach Level 20 achieves first placing.
2. The following placings are determined according to player Levels; in each team,
only the player with the highest Level is considered.
3. Ties will be broken in the following order:
a. Highest Level of the second player in the team;
b. Greatest total value of items for the first player;
c. Greatest total value of items for the second player;
d. Highest level monster drawn from the deck at random.
