Stay and Play
Outdoor Area
Over the course of the year, you will have
opportunities to come and visit your child
in school through our stay and play
sessions. The sessions will be held either
at the start or the end of the day. We
encourage parents to play not just with
their own child but with groups of
children. We allow up to 5 parents for
each session due to space restrictions.
Dates for these session will be sent out
soon. Your letter will be returned with
the 2 sessions you have been allocated.
We are very excited about our
outdoor area. We are looking
to see how the children are
using the area and hoping to
“upcycle“ materials to support
our children’s creativity and
imagination. To further develop
our outdoor area we welcome
donations of old metal tea pots,
saucepans, logs, cargo netting,
shopping
baskets etc.
We are also
looking for
larger items
such as an old
canoe, rowing boat or tents.
Parent workshops

to model and show parents how we
teach reading, writing, phonics and
maths. Parents in previous years have
found these workshops very useful and
we hope you can attend! These sessions
will be open to all parents.
