FEATURE FRIDAY ALBERT KING C A MP US DINING DRIVE R This week on our Feature Friday segment, we managed to grab a few minutes of our Campus Dining Driver’s time for a quick interview. We’re sure you’ve seen Albert King buzzing around campus in our golf cart or the catering van. He’s a busy guy, but we were able to get answers about his life, hobbies and more. Here’s what he had to say: Where are you from? Albert: I’m from Bessemer, Alabama. How long have you worked for Campus Dining? Albert: I’ve worked here for 7 years. That’s a decent length of time, what’s kept you here? Albert: The money! Really I just like the job a lot. I get to be out and about on campus and no day is ever the same. What do you like to do in your free time? Albert: I like to clean up my yard, work on cars and spend time with my four grandchildren. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Albert: Hawaii, definitely Hawaii. What are your plans for Spring Break? Albert: I plan to just piddle around the house and work on my cars. My favorite car is my Chevrolet Cavalier, I treat it like it’s my baby. What’s something most people don’t know about you? Albert: I like to cook. I especially enjoy barbecuing. I’m the one that BBQs the ribs we serve in The Commons. And finally, what is your favorite food? Albert: Turnip greens and ham. Wave or say hi to ALbert the next time you see him around campus!
