While similarities exist in the design of each rod series, each is engineered with a construction all its own to meet a
particular fisherman’s needs for strength, action and durability.

The PowerButt® is made from durable composite material that is
kind to anglers and mean to fish. Many times tougher than EVA,

Fuji’s tangle free K-guides are designed to minimize braided line tangles,
yet are just as applicable with monofilament and fluorocarbon lines.
These guides feature Alconite or SiC rings for the ultimate in corrosion
resistance and weight reduction allowing for a faster, farther cast.
AFTCO® roller guides are
some of the world’s best.
Fuji’s SiC (silicon carbide) guide rings are the most advanced ceramic rings
available to date. Diamond polishing produces one of the smoothest rings
around. These rings are designed to reduce weight,
dissipate heat and increase line sensitivity.
Fuji’s concept guide system results in greater sensitivity,
improved casting distance, accuracy and efficiency,
and overall improved rod action.
Innovations like the exclusive Duratech Technology adds to sensitivity, strength and
durability. Our Plasma series takes this technology to a new level.
Star Rods was one of the first rod builders to incorporate basalt fibers into fishing
rods. Basalt fiber used in conjunction with Duratech technology gives Plasma rods the

Inshore Spinning
Plasma rod blanks use two types of multi-directional graphite leading into a reinforced graphite butt weave, all tied together with
Duratech technology. As the rod loads, power is transmitted from the butt to the tip. Plasma inshore rods feature Fuji® KL-H guides
for tangle-free and deadly accurate casts. Fuji’s® SK2 reel seat is used to reduce weight and increase sensitivity. Light weight blank,
sensitive action, extreme power and the finest components available, make Plasma inshore the finest fishing rods on the market.

While designed for vertical jigging, they are very versatile for any kind of fishing where lightweight and extreme power is desired.

weight. Weighing in at a mere 3.5oz – 4.3oz., Star Rods has set the new standard as the premier inshore fishing rod. There are
a total of ten models available in lengths of 6’6”, 7’, and 7’6.
Rods can benefit from the use of the New Guide Concept. By reducing guide size near the tip of the rod, weight is reduced in this critical
area and more of the imparted energy can be used for casting rather than starting and stopping the rod. Rod response and recovery are

Stellar Lite Fast Taper rods are designed for the increased popularity of casting light plastic baits with or without jig heads. They are
also great for casting light lures and bucktails when a fast, long cast is desired. We use Fuji® Concept guides which are a perfect
match for these actions. These actions also work well for kayak fishing where casting without shifting body weight is important. There

When you’re ready to call “Fish on!”, the rod you want in your hand is a Star Handcrafted Rod. Each starts with a unique custom
blank, with many featuring Duratech Technology. Duratech blanks are made by combining multi-directional graphite with a special
epoxy. The result is a rod with greatly increased sensitivity, lifting power and toughness. It also increases durability when a rod is
jammed or over-bent in any direction. The graphite to epoxy ratio is individually selected for each Handcrafted rod to insure the
perfect action, weight, strength and maximum durability.
From custom assembly to the diamond wrap accent, Star Rods does it all by hand. Craftsmanship that qualifies Handcrafted rods
