EZ Quilting item 882160001A • 120* Triangle 120° Triangle Cutting Instructions Fig. 1 Fig. 2 1. Cut strip desired width. Fold strip as shown in Figure 1, to cut triangle. Place dotted line of tool on the fold of the fabric, making sure the flat edge at the top of the tool and the line width are aligned with the edges of the fabric strip. Cut with rotary cutter. 2. Fold strip again, as shown in Figure 2. Flip the triangle over and place the dotted line on the fold of the fabric, aligning the flat edge at the top and the line width with the edges of the strip. Cut along edge of tool. 3. Continue cutting triangles across the width of the strip. 4. To make multi-striped triangles, stitch strips together and cut as shown in steps 1 and 2. Fig. 3 5. To make triangles with each half different, cut strips the desired width. Align triangle on fabric as shown in Figure 3. Cut along the left straight edge and along the angle. This allows for the seam allowance required to sew the 2 halves together. Fig. 4a 6. To stitch triangles together, place 2 triangles right sides together and stitch with 1/4” seams, as shown in Figure 4a. Start and stop stitching 1/4” from each end. Press seams to one side. Place third triangle as shown in Figure 4b. Start and stop stitching 1/4” from each end. Press seams to one side. Stitch final seam as shown in Figure 4c. Press seams. Fig. 4b 7.
