hinders worship or dampens our joy. Increase within
us a holy longing for justice and a deeper
commitment.
Welcome members, friends and visitors to our service this morning. We
would ask you all to complete the friendship pad located in your pew.
Thank you for your help. Welcome Packets for our visitors and guests are
available at the Visitor Center.
May our songs and prayers, our speaking and our
listening glorify you and strengthen us to follow
Christ.

CALL TO WORSHIP ~~written by Bruce Prewer
Leader: We are here to worship.
People: God’s love welcomes us, Christ’s grace
awaits us, The Spirit’s joy encourages us.
Leader: We do not come as slaves; we come as the truly
free. We are not outsiders, but deeply loved
children.
People: The love of God convicts us. The grace of
Christ redeems us. The joy of the Spirit
uplifts us.
Leader: Come as the joyful, come as the eager, come as
the thankful, come as the recipients of amazing
grace.
People: The love of God overflows in our hearts. The
grace of Christ liberates our spirits, The joy
of the Spirit sings in our minds.

* APOSTLES’ CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the
Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead and buried; he descended into
hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he
ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come
to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic
church; the communion of the saints; the
forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting. Amen.
