Leadership Program—Our latest session with Simon Nette served to bring together all the main points we have learned so far: being willing to make a change, getting the support of like-minded others, choosing a problem you can solve, taking action, then withdrawing (leadership is not forever). Walk With Me—These walks are to celebrate people of all abilities & encourage Australians to walk either 2 or 4 km. alongside someone who Scope support, to raise much needed funds & to create inclusive & welcoming communities for people of all abilities. The Melbourne walk is on Sept. 9th, meeting at Federation 31 August 2012 Square. You can walk to raise funds for your own support organization, if you want to.
