OUR STORY.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Kelly Perkins grew up in Boulder, and
now lives in Golden, Colorado with her
super cute husband, Craig, and her two
food-obsessed labs, Zonker and Sculpin.
Kelly started making her all-natural soaps
back in 1995, to avoid the harsh, drying
chemicals that are used in mass-produced
commercial products.
With time, more and more friends and family started requesting new ‘flavors’ — and her
soap room started to fill up. To avoid being buried alive in natural skincare products,
Craig urged Kelly to start selling her products to the general public. Thus, Spinster Sisters
was born.
SIMPLE, NATURAL, HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS
Our products are handcrafted from natural ingredients. Rich with essential oils and
botanicals, they are gentle, sulfate free, pthalate free, and hypoallergenic.
We work hard to use raw ingredients that are simple and recognizable. Olive, coconut,
palm, castor, jojoba, sweet almond, and apricot kernel oils are found on many of our
ingredient lists. We love cocoa butter and use unrefined fair-trade shea butter purchased
directly from small woman-owned businesses in Ghana.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
By using simple packaging to conserve energy and reduce waste, we ensure that our
packaging will not end up clogging the landfills for future generations. We use recycled,
recyclable or biodegradable packaging on the majority of our products.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
Our Microsoapery in Golden, Colorado is powered by renewable energy for the
lowest possible impact on the environment. In both our business and our personal lives
we make a concerted effort to reduce our energy consumption and to live in a sustainable
fashion. We are obsessive recyclers and rabid composters!

Natural Soaps
Spinster Sisters, a family-owned business,
focuses on creating natural skincare products
that are handcrafted with top-notch ingredients.
It was founded in 1994 when a team of sisters
realized that they needed an alternative to the
‘witches’ brew of chemicals’ that many modern
skincare brands represent. Gentle and rich, the
colorful soaps are loaded with essential oils and
botanicals. The company’s micro-soapery, which is
powered by renewable energy, creates a collection
of all-natural Bath Soaps that are sulfate-free,
phthalate-free and hypoallergenic. The decorative
black-and-white packaging is recyclable and
boasts a retro flair.

Toner is used after washing the face and before using moisturizer. It

other skin irritants. You can also spritz some on mid-day to refresh.

PRE-SHAVE OIL
This natural oil blend creates a natural barrier between the skin
and the razor blade which ensures a close shave while minimizing
razor burn and ingrown hair. To use, dispense a nickel sized drop
and rub into skin in an upward motion to lift and soften the hair.
