Oil and gas in Montenegro
Sumary of previous exploarations and results on Blok 3
More then 6000 km of 2D reflective seismic
prfilies have been made, processed and interpreted
311 km2 of 3D seismic survays have been
completed on the perspective Pliocene objects
Two deep exploration wells have been drilled:
JJ-2 (3700 m) oil was registered;
JJU-1 contained oil traces
Pliocene prospects were identified at the depth 700 m
to 1300 m, GIP potencial of 721 Bcf.
AVO seisimic analyses estimate that the gas
exploration risk is low.
