ProEdge Sports Conditioning is a sports conditioning facility that uses science-based training
and techniques in a state-of-the-art space. We develop the total Athlete by paying attention to
four key components of performance: cutting-edge conditioning programs, sports nutrition,
sports psychology, and sports massage therapy. We’re an industry leader, developing Athletes

responsible for creating a world-class customer experience and maintaining customer
satisfaction at all times. You are not afraid to do what it takes. You are the ‘heart’ of the
operation. The Athlete Experience Associate greets, assists, and directs Athletes, guests, staff
and callers as they enter or call the facility. You are also responsible for performing a variety of
administrative and operational duties that lend themselves to the overall Athlete
experience. We are currently seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our team in
the capacity summarized below.
Roles and Qualifications

Greets and checks-in all Athletes as they enter the facility.
Ensures that front desk operational procedures are followed (manages schedules,
ensures proper phone etiquette, coordinates registration for programs, tracking of
appointments etc.).
Assists Athletes with all inquiries.
Motivates and inspires Athletes to become more involved.
Projects a polished, professional image at all times.
Guides Athletes with regards to the latest exercise routines, discounts or other offers
and is not afraid to suggest products or services that are in their best interest.
Acts as the liaison between the Athlete and Coach.
Creates a comfortable and genuine customer service environment.
Athlete Experience Associate Position
Sales:
• Knowledgeable about the different programs offered.
• Able to sell the different programs and the benefits of each option.
• Conduct tours of the world-class facility and provide information on the features of the
facility.
Organization:
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe training facility.
• Maintains a clean and orderly front desk/lobby area.
• Performs a variety of duties including filing paperwork, basic accounting, coordinating of
marketing initiatives, folding towels, doing walk-through’s of the facility or any other
duties as assigned.
Management Support:
• Assist the Managing Director in his daily functions; these will include but will not be
limited to the following support functions:
o Monitoring and evaluation of business and operations performance indicators.
o Supporting the establishment of near, medium and long term company
objectives and goals and in the development of ProEdge Company growth
planning.
o Support company HR activities, particularly initiatives which support the growth
of the company.
• Assist the Director of Marketing with his daily functions; these will include but will not
be limited to the following support functions:
o Support in the development of marketing and sales initiatives in line with the
ProEdge marketing strategy.
o Support the Director of Marketing with direct sales and client support for high
value clients / VIP’s.
o Monitoring and evaluation of marketing and sales related performance
indicators.
Team Player:
• Attend and actively participate in all ProEdge Sports Conditioning staff meetings and
events.
Athlete Experience Associate Position
Qualifications:
Education:
• College or University preferred with background in Kinesiology or competitive sports
considered an asset.
Skills:
• You enjoy ‘connecting’ with people and engaging with them and their athletic
aspirations.
• You possess superior verbal communication skills as well as exceptional customer
service skills and positive attitude.
• You are able to handle multiple projects at once and have a high attention to detail.
• You are always punctual and you have skill in problem solving, organizing and planning
for yourself and others.
• You are ‘high energy’ and enjoy working in fast paced, challenging, and changing
environment.
• You are available to work flexible hours (weekends, early mornings, afternoon, and late
nights).
• You love working independently and in a team environment.
• You are technically savvy and have experience working with Microsoft Office software
(Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as other CRM databases. Experience in Mindbody
Software would be considered an asset.
• You can operate phone and standard office equipment effectively.
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 3 years customer service experience, previous hospitality industry
experience is an asset.
• CPR C (recertified within one year)
• Standard First Aid (recertified within 3 years)

Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia
Hours of Work: Full time, ongoing employment agreement with competitive benefits package.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
