October Professional Development Event Tour of the Smith Tower
Saturday, October 15th, 11:00 a.m.
The Smith Tower
506 2nd Ave, Seattle
Hello Everyone!
My name is Romulos, and I will be the Professional Development Chair for
2016-2017. For the upcoming year we will be organizing tours and
activities for the young professionals in the area.
Please join us for our first event on S aturday October 15th, where we
will be taking a tour of the historic Smith Tower in Pioneer Square. The
Smith Tower opened in 1914, and was the tallest building in Seattle until
the Space Needle was constructed in 1962.
Tickets cost $12 ($10 with a WA S tate ID). Please plan on meeting
down in the lobby at 11AM. The self-guided tour takes about 40 minutes
and will culminate with us up on the 35th floor enjoying a great view of
Seattle. Following the completion of the tour, we will get lunch at a
nearby restaurant.
Please send me an e-mail letting me know if you will be attending.
Lastly if you have any ideas for tours or activities that you would like to
see this year, please let me know.
Thank you and I look forward to meeting you all soon.
To RSVP or if you have questions, please contact Romulos Ragudos at
[email protected].
