Overview of Course
Hola! It is with great pleasure that I
welcome you to our Spanish
language class. I am looking forward
in exploring the wonders of the
Spanish language as well as the
Spanish culture with all of you. As
your teacher I would do my best to
provide you with as much help as
possible. I expect, in return, for you
to meet the expectations described
below:
Places We Will Visit
During our journey through the Spanish language,
we will “visit” new places through videos, books
and pictures. We will hike to the Machu Picchu
Ruins, walk through the Amazons, and visit the
Flooding Islands in the Lake Titicaca. Students
will also visit Central America and learn about the
wonders of each country.

People We Will Meet
Our class will study the different Indigenous
groups in Central and South America. We will talk
about the major contributions that these groups
made to society. The variety of foods that we
enjoy today, thanks to the Aztecs, the Mayans
and the Incas. I expect everyone to participate
in class. There will be plenty of opportunities for
group work and it is going to be essential for
students to get to know each other and to learn
to work together.
