Following a shatnez lecture a
woman came forward with the
scarf shown in the picture.

The white yarn in the scarf is
wool and the black is linen.
She had unfortunately worn the
scarf and could not return it. She
donated it to our shatnez lab for
education purposes.
This is an example of real
shatnez in a scarf, as well as a
case where simply reading the
label would have prevented an
issur of shatnez.
