Group Rebate Guidelines
For Groups Traveling on:
A Globus brochure itinerary featuring
Oberammergau (HBO, HMO, RSO, RTO, TCO,
TLO, TVO, ZCO, ZDO, ZFO, Cosmos Tours 5400
,5420,5590,5620,5640,5650,5660,5670,5690,5600).
GROUP SIZE & REBATE
10 to 19 passengers�������one travels with half price land
20 to 29 passengers�������one travels with free land
30 to 39 passengers�������one travels with free land and one travels with half
price land
40+ passengers �������������two travel with free land
Please note:
•The group rebate is based on the double occupancy rate of the base tour and does not include supplements or additional services.
•The group rebate does not apply to internal air segments.
• Group rebates are not commissionable.
•There are no Travel Agent discounts on tours including Oberammergau
•No more than 2 groups allowed per departure. 1st group can free-sell into the space. The second group is on request.
• Cosmos Tours are available to groups on request. Space is subject to availability.
Important:
•A sole-use group to Oberammergau must be for a minimum of 40 passengers. If a sole-use group falls below 40 named tour
members we reserve the right to open space to general sales. Sole-use groups must be pre-qualified.
IMPORTANT DATES
Two Weeks After
Booking
Minimum non-refundable deposit due.
Groups will have 2 weeks from booking date to provide
non-refundable $250 pp deposit to hold space (names not
required). Any space without $250 per person non-refundable
deposit is released.
300 Days to Departure
All names as they appear on the
passport, plus the travel protection
premiums (if elected), plus an additional
$1000 per person non-refundable
deposit is due (non-refundable deposit
now totals $1250 per person plus
insurance premiums).
Unnamed space is released and per person deposit is retained.
New group bookings: Names,
insurance, and $1250 per person
non-refundable deposit due at time
of confirmation of space.
120 Days to
Departure
Final rooming list is due.
After this date, $1250 is non-refundable for individual space
cancellations.
Name changes or substitutions are allowed up to 120 days prior to
departure. Airline revision and/or cancellation fees will apply up to
100% of the ticketed price. These fees are payable by the passenger at
time of revision.
After this date no name changes or name substitutions are
allowed.

Departure
Final payment due.
After this date, individual penalties apply per space
cancellations.
New group bookings – names and
full payment required at time of
confirmation of space.
PLEASE NOTE:
•Oberammergau air bookings require passport names and deposits to secure space. Please call for latest information and availability.
Changes will be subject to applicable airline penalties.
• Some tours with limited space may require names and deposits sooner than the above timeframes. We reserve the right to reclaim
unnamed space sooner that the above time frames.
• Space is guaranteed upon receipt of name and full deposit.
• Passenger documents are sent 2-3 weeks prior to departure. As such, documents parties should not be scheduled to occur until
within 2 weeks of departure.
•Applicable passenger document delivery fees will be applied.
SPACE LIMITATIONS
•There are no second departures on tours featuring Oberammergau.
• Single and triple accommodations exceeding 10 percent of the Groups’ passengers must be requested.
• Single and triple accommodations are subject to availability. Single accommodations only apply to the non-Oberammergau portions
of the tour. In Oberammergau singles will share a twin accommodation.
•Extra hotel nights are on a request-only basis.
• Some tours have space limitations that may restrict us from accommodating groups.
Cancellation Dates & Penalties
>300 days prior to departure. . . . . . . . . . . . $200 or $250 per person non-refundable deposit (depending on booking date)
300-65 days prior to departure . . . . . . . . . . $1250 per person non-refundable deposit
64-0 days prior to departure . . . . . . . . . . . . 100% of full price including travel protection premiums
REVISION FEES LAND:
A penalty of $30 per change may be assessed for any change made to a land reservation
within 120 days of departure. Airfare revision fees may also apply at any time after
confirmation of air.
REVISION FEES AIR:
Revisions or modifications to bookings which include air may incur airline penalties.
Often these fees are up to $250 per person but may be up to 100% of the ticketed price.
Any revision to booking may result in the loss of confirmed airline reservations or an
increase in airfare which will be payable by the passenger at time of request.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Group bookings can be transferred to an alternate date and/or tour which include Oberammergau, up to and including 210 days
prior to tour departure. Any requests to transfer the tour within 210 days will be treated as a cancellation and new booking. Normal
penalties will apply. Group bookings can be transferred to an alternate date and/or tour which do not include Oberammergau up to
300 days prior to departures. The group will forfeit per person deposit paid for any transfer to a tour not including Oberammergau.
• Cancellation fees also apply to pre and post nights.
•Travel Protection premiums are non-refundable within 120 days prior to departure, unless the tour is cancelled by the Operator.
Price is the same as the 2009 current rate.
•Travel Protection Plus is not available for tours including visits to Oberammergau.
