Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award Winners 1957-­‐2012 This Vermont-­‐based award is given to an author whose book receives the most votes from students across the state. Each spring, a committee of eight carefully selects 30 books to comprise the Dorothy Canfield Fisher master list. After reading at least five books from the list, students then vote for their favorite titles the following spring.
