HELLO COACHES!!!
I would like to WELCOME all the new and returning coaches to the Fall 2016 Season! I'm so excited to
meet you or see you all again. :) It is already that time for the first Coaches' meeting of the season! There
will be two sessions one for U10 and below and one for U11 and above. Below is all the important
information about getting ready for the upcoming 2016 Fall Season!!!! TSC Board of Directors is really
looking forward to another great season of SOCCER!!!
This is a big year of changes from birth year registration, roster sizes, the amount of players on the field at
different age groups, the new drop back line, and new heading guidelines. It is very important that every
coach show up to this meeting. Please read through all the information and if you have any questions please
let us know.
TSC will not hand out a roster to any coach that has not cleared the WYS background check,
turned in a coach code of conduct and completed the SCA compliance*(once every 3 years). We
really appreciate your support in keeping the players safe and helping follow the rules set forth
by Washington Youth Soccer and US Youth Soccer.
*If you completed the SCA compliance last year and turned in a copy to TSC you are good for 2 more
years.

U10 and Below Coaches Meeting
Date: Tuesday July 19th
Time: 5:00pm
Location: Gordon Field Turf
This year we will go through some coaches training, pick up your coaches t-shirt, then you will be able
to receive your preliminary roster, pick your practice field time and days, game scheduling requests, pick up
equipment and go over any rule changes that have occurred. We will also have information for T-shirt pick
up and future coaches meetings.
U11 and Above Coaches Meeting
Date: Tuesday July 19th
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Gordon Field Turf
This year we will go through some coaches training, pick up your coaches tshirt, then you will be able to
receive your preliminary roster, pick your practice field time and days, game scheduling requests, pick up
equipment and go over any rule changes that have occured. We will also have dates for uniform pick up
and future coaches meetings.
TSC has decided to not do uniform deposits this season.
Coaches Code of Conduct
Here is a link to the coaches code of conduct. Please review the Code of Conduct and return a signed copy
to me either electronically before the coaches meeting or print a copy, sign it and bring it to the
meeting. Rosters will not be handed out unless I have a signed copy of your code of conduct.

This is the website where your schedule will be posted (End of August). Please make sure you are able to
log in to your account. If you do not have an account here please create one.

3. Fill in your information and choose "register" ***Please note it is very important that you fill in your Legal
name the exact same way on all three websites***

WSYSA Risk Management
No coach will be allowed to start holding practice if this Risk Management(RMA) is not done. Please follow
the information below.
WSYSA has background check for being a coach. It is required by Washington Youth Soccer that you do this
additional background check.

*Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness
Coach Training and Certificate of Completion Every Three Years - every three years, each WA Youth
Soccer coach and assistant coach must complete an online sudden cardiac arrest prevention program and
submit a certificate showing completion of the program to the club/association. WIAA is still working on the
training program for coaches; in the meantime, WIAA recommends use of the National Federation of State
High School Associations (NHFS) online training. The training takes approximately 15 minutes and is
available for free at https://nfhslearn.com/courses/61032 . A certificate is issued on completion of the
training. Tracyton Soccer Club is required to have all coaches complete the online course. Please follow
the instructions below and once finished please email a copy of the certificate to

"Register" (In the top right hand corner)
Enter all of your information
Once registration is finished Click "Courses" at the top of the screen
Next to the word "Courses" in the center is a search box; type in "Sudden Cardiac Arrest" and click
on that course
Next click "order course"
Then choose "Myself" to the next question
The course is free choose; Washington as your state then click "checkout" and then "continue"
Go back to your "Dashboard" (link at top of screen)
Next click "My Courses" on the left hand side of the screen
"Begin Course"
The course will take about 10 minutes to complete once completed please save a copy of your
Certificate.
A copy of this cert. needs to be emailed to TSC.
