EVRAZ North America is a vertically
integrated steel producer uniquely
positioned to meet the needs of liquefied
natural gas (LNG) customers – from
drilling and transmission to storage.
We safely manufacture large and small
diameter line pipe and oil country tubular
goods (OCTG), as well as plate for
storage tanks and pressure vessels.

rolling plate and coil, or making pipe and

Large and Small Diameter Line Pipe
EVRAZ pioneered large diameter line pipe in North America and
today we are its largest producer. In fact, we are the only producer
in North America that can manufacture LD pipe that is 100%
“Made in Canada.” Our ISO 9002 certified facilities have the ability
to produce DSAW (straight seam and spiral) and ERW line pipe in
grades from x52 up to x100, pipe diameters from 2 to 60 inches,
and wall thicknesses up to 1 inch. In fact, we’ve made more than
2,000 kilometers (1,243 miles) of x80 line pipe.
EVRAZ offers state-of-the-art high performance powder coating
(HPPC) and three-layer coating and lining services. In addition, we
have wide-ranging expertise in logistics, off-loading, and storage
management systems.
Oil Country Tubular Goods
We also manufacture API-compliant ERW casing and tubing,
seamless casing, and coupling stock to support gas and oil drilling.
Our QB2 premium connection has been proven in the field for
over 20 years and we have added a new semi-premium connection
– QB1-HT. Both provide the reliability and flexibility required in
today’s challenging drilling environments and were developed with
the active involvement of industry in testing and field conditions.
Plate for Storage Tanks & Pressure Vessels
EVRAZ steel plate is used in the most demanding tank and pressure
vessel applications. Our plate mills are capable of producing plate
from 0.1875” to 5.0” thick and up to 135” wide. With a variety of
yield strengths and custom sizes available on short lead times – even
on small orders – tank designs can be optimized for reliability, weight,
and overall cost.

The EVRAZ advantage goes beyond our product offerings to the location
of our manufacturing facilities in close proximity to western Canada
energy hubs. With 58 years of experience in the oil and gas transmission
markets, EVRAZ has produced over 56,350 kilometers (35,000 miles) of
project pipe. We make our products sustainably, recycling millions of tons
of scrap metal each year.
TECHNOLOGY EXPERTISE
The EVRAZ Research Center in Regina, founded in 1981,
boasts an extensive team of metallurgists, scientists and
engineers dedicated to product development and full-scale
mechanical, tensile, collapse, corrosion and weld testing,
as well as microstructure and finite element analyses and
process simulation. We also have state-of-the-art technology
centers at our Portland and Pueblo facilities where we work
closely with our customers to meet the ever changing and
increasingly challenging demands of the oil and gas industries.
