participants from the museum and university world
with your project! Win a prize of 3.000 Euros to

What is a Project Slam?
Based on the concepts of poetry and science slams,
in Project Slam, ideas for museum, exhibition and
educational concepts are presented in a clear and
intriguing way. Thus, ambitious, innovative and
bold ideas can be presented to the public and enthuse others. The jury, which consists of conference
participants, selects the award-winning projects.
The objective of Project Slam is to consolidate
and encourage cooperation between museums and
scientific research. Since innovative projects are
most likely to emerge when cooperating with partners having a fresh perspective!
To whom is the Project Slam addressed?
Applications are open for projects addressing
museum and university, or museum work and
scientific research and are as yet still conceptual.
Thanks to 7x7, at the conference you will have the
opportunity to present your project, to receive an
award and to join a network.
The subject and the mode of project cooperation
can be freely chosen. Not all project partners need
yet to have been found yet.
The projects submitted will be presented in a
free slam format (7 min.) at the museOn forscht:
Museums and Universities – Centres of Mutual
Knowledge Exchange conference. The conference
participants will decide whether a project will be
implemented. A pre-selection will be made by an
expert jury to be announced.
What can be won?
The winners of the Slam will receive prize money
of 3.000 Euros for the implementation of the project, comprehensive expert advice from the museOn team, and extensive public relation support via
the museOn blog.

Each project application will be submitted by at
least one person from the university environment
or the museum scene. Freelance museum employees and / or freelance scientists may also apply.
A degree is not a prerequisite.
