English/Language Arts Resource Document- Quarter 3 Seventh Grade Unit 3: Adversity, Conflict, and Change Dates: January 3, 2017- March 17, 2017 Essential Question (If multiple options, pick the essential questions you wish to use): How does conflict lead to change? How does an individual’s point of view affect the way they deal with conflict? What personal qualities have helped you to deal with conflict and change? How might if feel to live through a conflict that disrupts your way of life? How does conflict influence an individual’s decisions and actions? What characteristics are necessary to overcome adversity?
