Where in the world are all the orangutans?
Print out the attached sheet (laminate if possible)
and use under a classroom globe.
See if kids can find Borneo and
Sumatra. You can give the hint:
It’s on the equator.
Provide a magnifying glass (attach a
string to it and the globe).
Ask, “Can you see the orangutans?”
When they say, “No”, you can say, ”See, that is the
problem!”
