Your alcoholic beverages, sparkling water, and sodas will be supplied by Beaver Street Liquor, a Flagstaff
liquor establishment (formerly Cork’N Bottle), and will be pre-packed onto our boats in individual burlap bags
labeled with your name.

You may pay by credit card or personal check - make checks out directly to Beaver Street Liquor; please postdate if you send it over four months before your trip. Please note that orders and changes within 3 weeks of
your trip date cannot be accommodated. Your payment will not be processed until a few days before your
trip.

Beverages supplied by Canyon Explorations/Expeditions: endless filtered water, Country Time pink lemonade,
Gatorade (assorted powdered flavors), and Vitalyte, a powdered electrolyte replacement drink. We also supply
locally-roasted coffee, instant decaffeinated coffee, regular and herbal teas, and hot chocolate. We have juice some
mornings, and a limited number of canned beverages for during the day.
Please consider ordering sparkling water instead of soda -- it’s quite refreshing as well as healthfully
hydrating! Remember that you’ll be working hard to stay hydrated while on your trip, and sodas and alcohol are
dehydrating – especially for children.
HARD LIQUOR NOTE: NO GLASS! If you would like to bring hard liquor, please decant it into a plastic
container or purchase the ones bottled in plastic.
WINE NOTE: NO GLASS! Please decant glass-bottled wine into a plastic container; we have found that the
Platypus brand soft plastic bottles work really well (available at select sporting goods stores).
Beverage limits per person:
Full Canyon trips
5 six packs (beer and sodas combined) or 3 three-liter wine boxes
Upper Canyon trips
2 six packs (beer and sodas combined) or 2 three-liter wine boxes
Lower Canyon trips
3 six packs (beer and sodas combined) or 2 three-liter wine boxes
*Or any other combination of equal volume*
…There is a limit to the total amount of beverages (sodas, beer and wine combined) allowed per person due to
finite boat space.
…You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
…While not a common occurrence, cans/wine bladders can be damaged due to the nature of transporting
them downstream.
