She exudes this trait by being respectful and truly caring about the people around her. She is respectful to her piers and helpful to younger students and teachers. When someone is feeling down Brooke is right there to pick them up. Her positive attitude towards life and her ability to always make me smile are just a couple of the many reasons I chose Brooke as student of the month. ~Mr. Draheim Macy is someone who is compassionate; she feels a strong sense of sadness when she sees others who are suffering. And as a compassionate person Macy always tries to do something to help ease the suffering of others. Macy is always caring, comforting, and supporting her peers. She is a pleasure to have in class and a role model to her peers. ~Mr. Trumble The student of the month is Sam Willes. Sam shows compassion in our class by helping fellow classmates with things they do not understand, or by loaning them a pencil or other items that they need. He also shows compassion to others in the school by being a friend to them. I heard a conversation he had with a new student trying to get them to join basketball. He did this in a very inviting way, no pressure just friendship. Sam is certainly an asset to our class. Mrs. Fix Scott Knoll best exemplifies the pillar of Compassion in many ways. He is always willing to lend a hand to a classmate in need and sincerely helps when called upon. Scott brings out the best in his peers by leading them to understanding and caring about other’s success alongside his own. Great work, Scott. ~Mr. Blanchard
