FROM INTERSTATE 95 & SAVANNAH AIRPORT
FROM HWY 278 BUSINESS
Approximate travel time from I-95: 35 minutes.
• Traveling north or south on I-95, proceed to
SC Exit 8 / Hwy. 278 East.
• Guests should turn into Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront
Resort from Hwy. 278 Business / William Hilton Pkwy
and stop at the first building on the right; this is our
Welcome Center and Front Desk.
• Follow Hwy. 278 East to Hilton Head Island
(approximately 18 miles).
FROM THE HILTON HEAD AIRPORT
• After crossing the bridge onto the island, Palmetto
Dunes is located mid-island at mile marker 8 and is
best reached by Hwy. 278 Business / William Hilton
Pkwy —not the Cross Island Pkwy.
Approximate travel time from airport: 15 minutes.
• Exit the airport and turn left at stop sign onto Beach
City Road.
• At traffic light turn left onto Hwy. 278 Business /
William Hilton Pkwy.
• At the intersection in front of Palmetto Dunes, use the
left turn lanes into the resort. The Welcome Center is
the first building on the right.
• Proceed approximately 3 miles. At the intersection in
front of Palmetto Dunes, use the left turn lanes into
the property. The Welcome Center is the first building
on the right.
