Pink Out Day
At Central High School
October 29, 2014
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! In honor of those that suffered this disease we had a PINK OUT DAY on Wednesday October
29th. Students were creative and they wore pink socks, hats, scarves,
and t-shirts. Mrs. Schools bought PINK hair spray and Mrs. Carter allowed the art students to paint PINK ribbons on kids faces during
lunch! Pictured to the left are Tre`Quan Morris, Precious Jackson, Shynese Holmes, Kayla Hill and Tre`Nisha Morris. Pictured to the right are
Shynese Holmes and Katelyn Robinson.
We Won Homecoming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember to create and save
memories of you child’s high
school experience and purchase a yearbook from Mrs.
Carter. You can get your own
2015 yearbook for $37.00.
After December 30, 2014, the
cost will be $40.00 until the
end of the school year.
The mighty Tigers won their first homecoming
game in eight years on Saturday, October 11,
2014. We played against the Middlesex Blue
Devils and we beat some Blue Devil butt all up
and down the football field; it was wonderful.
The weather was damp and foggy but the sun
was shining in all the minds and hearts of Central
High Tiger fans that day.
King and Queen Citizens Show Their
Community Pride
Although October 11, 2014 was a foggy, rainy day, many of King and Queen residents and
neighbors came to Central High School to show their community pride. There were vendors
selling fish, burgers, fries and funnel cakes. The parade included many highlights. Dr. Jones,
King and Queen School’s superintendent, along with the school board were in the parade.
Young and old alike enjoyed the floats from Central, Lawson Marriott, and King and Queen
Elementary. Candy was thrown from the floats and everyone did the snatch and grab. Below
are some pictures of the highlights of the day’s activities.
