In honor of those that suffered this disease we had a PINK OUT DAY on Wednesday October 29th. Students were creative and they wore pink socks, hats, scarves, and t-shirts. Mrs. Schools bought PINK hair spray and Mrs. Carter allowed the art students to paint PINK ribbons on kids faces during lunch! After December 30, 2014, the cost will be $40.00 until the end of the school year. The mighty Tigers won their first homecoming game in eight years on Saturday, October 11, 2014. We played against the Middlesex Blue Devils and we beat some Blue Devil butt all up and down the football field; it was wonderful. The weather was damp and foggy but the sun was shining in all the minds and hearts of Central High Tiger fans that day. King and Queen Citizens Show Their Community Pride Although October 11, 2014 was a foggy, rainy day, many of King and Queen residents and neighbors came to Central High School to show their community pride. There were vendors selling fish, burgers, fries and funnel cakes. The parade included many highlights. Dr. Jones, King and Queen School’s superintendent, along with the school board were in the parade. Young and old alike enjoyed the floats from Central, Lawson Marriott, and King and Queen Elementary. Candy was thrown from the floats and everyone did the snatch and grab. Below are some pictures of the highlights of the day’s activities. Power Puff Football On Friday, October 10, 2014 Junior girls competed against Senior girls in a game of flag football. The Seniors put up good fight but the Junior prevailed. Pictured is the senior team in the top photo which are as follows: Brittanie Scott, Tasima Cauthorne, Taylor Milby, A`Sha Hence, Sherronda Robinson, Tabitha Pitts, and Caitlyn Boggs. In the second picture the junior players are listed as follows: Tabitha Pitts, Amanda Ayers, Alys Davis, Shynese Holmes, Tre`Nisha Morris, and Destiny Davis. Their managers were Atlee Davis and Kayron Martin. The senior cheer squad members are in the picture to the left below and they were: Tre`Quan Morris, James Sutton, David White, Malik Nateil, Kordell Johnson, Paul Lewis, and Kevin Lucas.
