Léa Says:
PAI PROJECT AT LE BOURG-NEUF SCHOOL
The PAI Project is very good because
you can learn English and French. We
started the year in French for 2 and ½
months and then we did 5 months of
English. After, we will return to do
another 2 and½ months of French.
In English you do 5 consecutive months.
We do projects and we have fun. You
will have some orals and projects on
your iPad.
Anne says:
“We chose to be in the PAI because we wanted to be good in
English!”
We enjoy this project because we do interesting projects and we have
the two best teachers ever! We do fun activities and we love Miss
Wendy’s projects. The two teachers are amazing; they do everything
for our success! We keep smiling all day every day. We would
recommend this project because it will help you for your future. For
example, if you go to a country where people speak English, you can
manage to communicate. But
! If you don’t work, this project is
not for you.
In the French part we have fun and the
teacher smiles. We work faster because
we have to do the whole year in 5
months. You have to bring your iPad,
iPod or iPhone. But if you don’t have
one, we have eight iPads to lend you.
You have to put some apps but they are
all free. The two teachers teach very
well, we learn very fast.
Cassandra says:
We learn English faster than the other
classes. We have iPads to help us and to
practice. We do really fun projects with
the two teachers. In one classroom, there
are frogs and in the other class there are
basketball posters. We learn a lot in the
two classes. If you participate in the
PAI, it is a very good project for your
English. We can have EXTRA HELP to
help us. With the EXTRA HELP we do
projects like the newspaper. We use
computers, iPads and iPods every day.
With Miss Wendy we have money, if
you talk in French, you lose your
money!

Enough is Enough
Circus animals do not perform because they want to perform but because they
are afraid. If they don’t obey they will be hit by their trainers. Their trainers use
tools to force them to learn tricks. Unfortunately, it’s legal. There are no laws on
abuse in circuses so the trainers continue to do what they are doing.
The elephant often has foot problems due to the lack of movement when they are
chained up. The trainers’ favorite tool is the “bull hook”. The bull hook has a
sharp hook at the end. In conclusion it would be better to not go to the circus to
help the elephants and to discourage circus owners.
