Orientation Dates
New students will most likely arrive on the weekend of August
27 -28. Please make sure that your mark down the dates below
in your calendar.
MONDAY, AUGUST 29th
Langley Secondary School
TUESDAY, AUGUST 30th
Aldergrove Community Secondary School
WEDNESDAY, August 31st
Langley Secondary School then home school

Homestay families need to plan to be home or make arrangements to have another
adult (25 years or older with a criminal check attached to your file) to receive students.
IMPORTANT:
CURFEWS
(including during the holidays)
Sunday to Thursday – Curfew is 8 pm.
Friday and Saturday – Curfew is 11 pm.
* If there are specific activities curfew
could be extended at the discretion of the
homestay family and the International
Student Coordinator.
Please check with your student regarding flights
back home AND return to Canada.
Homestay parents are responsible for driving and
picking up students to the airport.
ALL students are expected to go back home by June 30
and return by September 6th (1st day of classes).
*Remember: text messaging can also be used
as way of communication with your student.






Students can share a bedroom with 2 beds,
maximum two students per home

Rocky Mountains Trip (3 nights)
Students will visit Bridal Falls, Kamloops, Shuswap Lake,
Lake Louise, Banff, Columbia Ice fields, Athabasca Glacier,
and Jasper.
Please make sure you are aware of the pick-up time, and that you
are available to pick up your student on that day, or that you have
made carpooling arrangements.
Please do not rely on our staff members to drop off your
student at home. Thank you for your cooperation.
