Terms and Rules of the World Cup Championship of Youth Indoor Soccer (SATUC)
Championship procedures
 The 24 selected teams are divided into 6 groups, each group of 4 teams.
 The first and second teams in each group become qualified for the 16
teams round.
 The best four teams achieve the third rank from the six groups are then
chosen to obtain a total of 16 elected teams.
 The first and second ranking teams from each group are then chosen, to
obtain a total of 6x2 = 12 elected teams.
 Matches are then played at the 16-round level, then the 8-round level,
then the semi-final and the final levels.
The team list
 Eight players are registered in each team including at least one goal
keeper.
 Players should hold the nationality of the country participating in the
Championship, and each player should submit a copy of his passport.
 The player’s age shall not exceed 15 years at the beginning of the
Championship.
 The player’s date of birth shall be August 2002 or older.
Soccer field
 Matches of the Championship shall be played in indoor halls.
Matches
 A match shall last 20 minutes divided into two half-times with five
minutes break in-between.
 Starting the 16-round and until the finals, a match shall last 40 minutes
divided into two half-times with a five minute break in-between.
 A selected team will not play any match with less than four players.
 Any team is allowed at most 15 minutes of delay after that the other
team shall be declared the winner due to the withdrawal of its
competitor. The withdrawn team shall be referred to the Competitions
Committee of the Championship to act upon this matter.
 A match will not be completed in case the number of players becomes 3
players including the goal keeper.
 Teams should leave the field hall immediately after the match, within at
most five minutes.
 All the selected teams shall observe the rules of the game and the
decisions of the referees.

Winner = 3 points
Drawn match = 1 point
Loser = zero point
The selected team with the highest score ranks first in its group,
followed by the team with the second best score.
If two teams obtain equal total scores, then the following aspects shall
be taken into consideration:
The total number of goals scored by the team.
If the total number of goals is equal for the two teams, the number of
goals which entered the goal space shall be taken into consideration.
If equal, the number of red cards and yellow cards incurred by each
team shall be taken into consideration.
If equal, the number of direct confrontations shall be taken into account.
If equal, a toss shall be carried out to determine the first best group and
the second best group.
The best three teams in each group shall be selected according to the following
criteria
The highest number of goals scored by the team and the least number o f
goals scored against the team.
- The least number of red cards and yellow cards incurred by the team.
- If equal, a toss shall be carried out.
The law of the game
The law of the game applied by the FIFA shall be observed, given that
international referees specialized in indoor soccer shall arbitrate the
Championship matches.
Warnings and dismissals
- If a player receives two yellow cards during the matches played between
the groups, he shall be suspended during the third match.
- If a player receives two yellow cards during one match, then he shall
receive a red card and shall be suspended during the next match.
- If a player receives a red card directly during the match, then he shall be
expelled from the match and the case shall be referred to the
Competitions Committee to make the appropriate decision.
- If a player receives only one yellow card during the match, then such
warning shall be cancelled if the team reaches the 16-round level.
- If a player receives a red card in the last match of his group, he shall be
prevented from playing the 16-round match.
- If his team makes it to the next level, then that player shall be entitled to
participate in the match unless he had been expelled for bad manners or
alternatively, the matter shall be left for the Competitions Committee to
make the appropriate decision.
