Structure of PEAS Administrator Panel Pre Enrolment Profile Used by Administrators to check that an Operative has completed Pre Enrolment, and to monitor their movement on and off of site. This is any Operatives profile. It is a record of an individual’s data relating to Pre Enrolment. This will be input by an Operative completing Pre Enrolment, and can be viewed via the Operative section of the Administrator Panel. Reference Number Assistance Panel Assistance The unique Reference Number given to an individual upon completing Pre Enrolment. It is linked to their Pre Enrolment Profile. Operatives are not required to know this prior to arriving on site, but will need it to use PEAS. A dropdown menu on the Administrator Panel that will provide you with help. Introduction This is a pop up that provides a short, section specific introduction. You can find it on the Assistance Panel. Introduction Getting Started Tutorial Tutorial This is the process every new site must go through to setup PEAS. This process will take you through ordering the PEAS Hardware and the next steps. It can be found on the Introduction popup. The tutorial will help you learn how to begin using the Access System section. It is accessible on the Assistance Panel when you are in Access System section. Types of User Every PEAS User that goes on to site is an Operative, and must have a valid Pre Enrolment. This includes members of the Willmott Dixon Site Team and Supply Chain Partner employees. All users are assigned to a site as an Operative. All Operatives must be assigned to site by a Basic Administrator. A Basic Administrator is a person from Willmott Dixon, who can check an Operative’s Pre Enrolment on the Administrator Panel. Once assigned to site as an Operative, Basic Administrators have the potential to be assigned to the Site Team on PEAS. The Site Team have the ability to manage the site, assign Operatives and manage visitors through the access system. A Basic Administrator can only be created by a Super Administrator. A Super Administrator is a person from Willmott Dixon who is usually a Regional Safety Principal or Group Safety Inspector. They can add Administrators to Pre Enrolment and add and view all sites on PEAS. A Super Administrator will create a site on PEAS, and then assign it its first Basic Administrator. 1 Functions All of the information on PEAS is contained within a database. The way this information is handled through the Administrator Panel is in two ways: Information can be newly created and destroyed permanently. OR Information can be moved or copied to new places. To differentiate between these two different methods of handling the information, these two sets of terms have been used. Add Assign Delete Remove The processes of creating new information or destroying it. The processes of moving existing information from one place to another. e.g. Adding a Handscan to a profile. Deleting an HandKey II Unit from a site. e.g. Assigning a Operative to a site. Removing an Operative from site, once they no longer need access. Hardware PEAS Hardware A general term for the HandKey II Units, HandKey Enclosures, Site Control Box (SCB), Ethernet Switch and 4G Dongle. This is hardware required to monitor and control access to site when using PEAS. For more information about each piece of hardware and what it does, read pg. 6-8 in the Setup Instruction Guide. 4G Dongle Ethernet Switch HandKey Enclosure Mechanical Gate SCB HandKey II Unit Any gate, door, turnstile or barrier with an electronic lock, to be used in conjunction with PEAS Hardware.
