STEP 1
CARD BASE
Cut card base at 5-1/2" x 4-1/4". On the Gypsy mat, overlay window from Creative Cards on the right front panel (front of card when folded).
Hide all but the window panes so only those will cut.

STEP 2
WINDOW
From white, cut 2 window frames. Mine are sized at 5.08w x 4.25h. Score top and bottom across window frame to create molding
(optional). Cut a piece of acetate a little smaller than window opening. Adhere to one frame using ATG or similar adhesive. Glue the
finished window and pane to card front.
CURTAIN - cut 2 curtain pieces. Glue back to back. Adhere curtain onto the other (inside) frame.

STEP 3
FLOWER BOX - Cut all layers for flower box as follows.
Cut flower box from brown. To separate this piece, hide all other areas of the shape on the Gypsy.
Cut flowers from bright pink. Use dark pink pen or marker to draw vein lines on flowers. Cut the green leaves and glue punched branches
over top. (Use MS pine punch) Arrange flowers and leaves over box and glue down. Adhere finished window box to front window. NOTE:
Glue ONE flower to the back of the flower-leave group so it can be seen through the window from the other side.

STEP 4
GRASS, BUSH, SPADE, BIRD
Cut a length of grass from EPD. Glue to bottom front of card. Don't worry about any overhang as you will punch this bits off at the end. Make
a bush from a couple of punched branches. Cut the spade with bird on top out of white cardstock. Colour these pieces as desired. Note:
The bird and handle of spade must be coloured on both sides as these will show through the window. Place spade with bird so that the
bird shows through the window. Kitty needs to see it.

STEP 5
CAT
Cut 1 cat out of white cardstock using "A Child's Year" or similar cat of your choice. Sponge both sides with tea dye ink. When dry, lightly
sponge once or twice to create fur. Add hand painted tabby markings with light brown marker. See pic for details. Be sure to colour cat on
both sides.

STEP 6
INSIDE
Inside, the card has another "card". This provides a wallpaper type of backing to show through the window when card is closed. Choose a
small print or coordinating plain cs for this. Prepare your verse for the inside. I made mine on the computer, cut to size and then glued the
"wallpaper" piece of cs on the front. Run a line of ATG glue down the back of the folded edge. Carefully place this inner card and press
down. Punch the two corners with MS corner lace punch.
SENTIMENT -- cut out your choice of birthday sentiment and glue it to the left inside page as shown.
