PARISH EMERGENCY COMMITTEE
Terms of reference agreed by Parish Council at their meeting of 28 March
2013:
PARISH EMERGENCY COMMITTEE: to formulate emergency plans for the
parish, monitor and update such plans as necessary, in accordance with the
guidelines provided by Nottinghamshire County Council. Liaise with other
organisations in the parish eg Fire Brigade, Memorial Hall Committee etc, so
that their views are reported in the plan.
Promote first aid courses, to be held in Collingham, for all parishioners who
wish to attend.
To disseminate copies of the emergency plan at key points throughout the
parish, when completed.
Cllrs Chris Allen; Derek Evans; Marcia Parkin; Rosie Scott on Parish
Emergency committee with co-opted members, Wayne Brooks, (Fire Crew),
Paul Craven (Fire Crew), Michael Copleston (RSPB Langford), Andrew
Hindmarsh (Trent Vale and Besthorpe Notts Wildlife Reserve), Patrick Holland
(Fire Crew), Tim Sheldon and Jane Guest Parish Clerk in attendance.
