Must be:










4-5 links of a food chain
An accurate feeding relationship
One type of organism per trophic level (label what each organism is at each level
Draw/print pictures of each organism at each trophic level
Accurately illustrate the number of organisms at each level (that there are more producers than
primary consumers, more primary consumers than secondary, etc)
Paragraph explanation on the bottom of what the energy pyramid illustrates
Show the energy source for that food chain (either the sun or hydrothermal vents in deep
ocean)
Explain or show the percent of energy that is transferred from one level to the next
LABEL: Producer, primary consumer, secondary consumer, tertiary consumer, and quaternary
consumer (if there is one), energy source, as well as the actual name of each organism chosen
Title of the energy pyramid (where on earth does it occur)
