Dayton’s Party of Parties has raised over $1.6 million for Equitas Health
2017 MASQUERAGE
Masquerage is Equitas Health’s biennial signature event. This year’s event represents one of
the largest public opportunities to raise awareness and critical funds for HIV/AIDS medical
care and treatment, HIV prevention (which includes PrEP), and a variety of other services like
primary care, behavioral health counseling, and dental care—one of the highest unmet needs
for those living with HIV.
Since 2002, Masquerage has served as Dayton’s “Party of Parties for a Cause” and has
become one of the must-be-seen-at events in Dayton, bringing hundreds of people together
for a magnificent evening of music, dancing, decadence and excess, all to raise critical funds
for Equitas Health’s mission and services

Equitas Health is a not-for-profit community based healthcare system founded in 1984. Its
expanded mission will make it one of the nation’s largest HIV/AIDS, lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, and queer/questioning, (LGBTQ) healthcare organizations. It serves more than
67,000 individuals in Ohio each year through a diverse healthcare and social service delivery
system focused around: primary and specialized medical care, behavioral health, HIV/STI
prevention, advocacy, and community health initiatives. Supporting Masquerage allows
Equitas Health to provide these vital programs and services!
This year Equitas Health will:
• Reach 57,000 individuals with HIV prevention, education & testing services which includes providing PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) – a once daily pill proven to be 92-99% effective in preventing HIV.
• Serve more than 5,000 persons living with HIV/AIDS.
• Provide specialized and primary care to more than 4,000 HIV-positive, LGBTQ and other medically underserved patients.
• Continue to expand the Institute for LGBTQ Health Equity, which will address health disparities through education, research, and community engagement.

Masquerage sponsor benefits include, but are not limited to
media and visibility. In addition, Equitas Health works with
community partners to design and print more than 35,000 items,
including invitations, save the date cards, general admission
tickets, posters, flyers, print advertisements and press releases.
Companies can expect to be seen and/or heard by more than
100,000 individuals throughout the Southwest Ohio region and
across the United States once all items are mailed, posted to our
website and via internet marketing ventures.

The 2017 Masquerage is slated to raise over $125,000 in funding with $75,000 in corporate sponsorship
alone. This masquerade party for a cause will raise critical funds HIV/AIDS medical care and
treatment, HIV prevention (which includes PrEP), and a variety of other services like primary care,
behavioral health counseling, and dental care.
Corporate and individual support of this event will make it possible for Equitas Health to fulfill its
