Garlic: Mince or press. Separate ⅓ out
Pans: Large skillet, large saucepan, small and
medium bowl
Start cooking: (20-30 minutes)
1. In large pot, bring water and one dash of salt to boil.
Add spaghetti and cook until desired tenderness,
about 7-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. While the sauce simmers, in small bowl, soak the
Panko in milk. Mix and let them soak up all the liquid. In
medium bowl, combine ground turkey, turkey sausage,
Parmesan, parsley, ⅓ of the garlic, and salt and pepper.
Add the milk soaked Panko and gently mix together.
Form the mixture into golf ball sized meatballs.
*Remember to remove meat
items from bottom of bag!
2. In large saucepan, heat 1 TBSP olive oil. Add ⅔ of
the minced garlic, the red pepper flakes, and cook 1-2
minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add basil, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste.
4. In large skillet, heat 1 TBSP oil over medium heat.
Add the meatballs and cook until golden brown on all
sides. Carefully remove extra grease in pan with a
paper towel. Add sauce to the pan, and cook together
for 10 minutes with lid on. Toss the spaghetti and sauce
in a serving bowl and top with grated cheese.
