Pool Membership Rules

One must present 2 passport size photos to become a member of the pool.

Payments should be either in cash or cheques payable to ‘MFA’ and are non-refundable.

Freezing of membership is only possible on presenting a medical certificate from a doctor.

Senior Citizen memberships are available to individuals aged 60 years or over.

Memberships and membership cards are not transferable. Members who lend cards to another
to gain entry and avoid guest fees shall lose membership privileges.

Each member and guest must leave the pool area and changing rooms clean.

Hair colouring and hair cutting on the premises is strictly forbidden.

Shaving in the showers and bathrooms is strictly forbidden.

Personal belongings must be kept in the lockers.

Members are provided with a key at reception against a €2 deposit.

Noodles, boards and pull buoys can be borrowed from the reception.

The Management reserves the right to refuse or terminate any membership due to rowdy,
unbecoming, indecent or any other behaviour that is deemed harmful to the pool.

Members may not make use of the pool on Fridays between 4 and 6pm and on Saturdays
between 9:30 and 11:30am.
Pool Rules

All swimmers must wear a swimming cap.

No swimmers with inflammations and / or infections are to swim in the pool.

All swimmers are required to share lanes if the need arises. When there are more than two
persons in a lane, all swimmers should swim on the right side of the lane in a counter clockwise
direction.

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18.

All shoes, sandals or slippers used outside are strictly unacceptable on pool deck due to
hygiene purposes.

Parents are responsible for their children’s safety.

No running, pushing, foul language or general roughhousing is allowed. Please keep conduct in a
manner suitable for a family environment.

No food or drinks on the pool deck unless you’re training. Glass is not permitted.

Dispose the trash in bins provided in the area.

Urinating, defecating, expectorating or blowing one’s nose in the pool is strictly prohibited.

After using pool, proper footwear should be used.

All swimmers must dry themselves with a towel prior to returning to the changing rooms

The management reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone at any time.

There is no lifeguard on duty.
Activities at the MFA Swimming Pool
MFA Swimming School
At the MFA Swimming Pool we organise swimming lessons for
children between the ages of 3years to 15years. Which
consists of 6 Groups; Guppies, Sea Turtles, Manta Rays, Sea
Otters, Seals and Orcas. The swimmers are divided in the
previously mentioned groups according to their swimming
abilities. Courses run all year round and each course consists
of 12 lessons. During the same period we organise MATSEC PE

Parties
At the MFA Swimming Pool we can also organise birthday parties. We can provide you with a 1hr
entertaining session at the pool, and then an area where you can hold your birthday celebrations with
