The BVS Chorus will be selling spirit pins again! Pins will be available for $1.00 each before
school in front of the office and in the 5th/6th grade hallway. Pins can be purchased tomorrow
and Wednesday only.

Teachers do not send students to the library today due to sweeps and the lack of internet. Thank

Anyone wanting to participate in Science Fair should see Mrs. O. or their science teacher for an
entry form. Science fair will be February 28th but you need to get started NOW.
Math team practice today after school. Come to Mrs. Kowalski’s room at 2:35. Have a ride here
to pick you up at 4:00.
8th graders who are going to Belleville East for band should go to the band room at 9:00 am this
morning. Bring your coat and make sure you have a pencil.
Reminder to all students, Special Area Groups officially start today. Technology now goes to
music, and music now goes to technology. PE times do not change.
Our 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball players will have your pictures taken right after school on
Wednesday. Bring your uniform to school on Wednesday, but we will practice right after
pictures until 4:30.
All music, technology and band students need to bring their AR book to class today.

being on the crew of Dear Edwina Jr. You must have a “C” average to participate with no Ds or
Fs. Please see Mrs. McGinthy or Miss Adams for a packet.

Reminder: SOM Pizza this Friday, come to the office at noon on Friday.
Our 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball teams will have their pictures taken today (Wednesday)
right after school. 7th grade girls will wear their white uniforms. All players will then change
into their normal practice attire. Practice will end at 4:30.
The character word for the month of January is Integrity. Integrity means doing what is right
even when it is hard.

Did you know that students at Belle Valley have read over 2,700 books this year? And this
quarter over 200 students met their AR goal and will be rewarded next week with a treat during
lunch. The reward will be announced next week. In the meantime, all the students who met their
AR goals have their names posted in the hallway outside the tech room. Be sure to see if your
name is up there!!
