The Wheel & Sprocket Service Contract Program is only available on any new Wheel & Sprocket bicycles
at the time of purchase or delivery.

Team and Conditions of Services offered:
(1) The SERVICE PROGRAMS include an unlimited number of MINOR ADJUSTMENTS on this bicycle. This
service includes up to 10 minutes on the bike stand (extra time = additional charge) and can be done while you wait
(in most cases). The BRONZE plan includes one off-season tune-up, the SILVER plan includes three off-season
tune-ups and GOLD plan includes five off-season tune-ups during the effective time period of the contract.
Off-season Tune-ups will only be performed during off-peak times of August 1 - March 10.
During the peak season (March 11 – July 31) a tune-up can be purchased for $20 or a touch-up can be performed in
lieu of a full tune-up.
(2) FLAT TIRE INSURANCE provides free tubes and labor provided that the wheel or bike is brought in for service.
Note that the tires must be kept in good condition or replaced for an additional charge. Flat Tire Insurance does not
apply to tubeless tire systems. Replacement tubes will be of equal value to the original. Flat Tire Insurance is part of
the GOLD service package.
The SERVICE PROGRAM contract is in effect for the period indicated above and it is separate from any factory
warranty that may apply to this bicycle. It covers labor only and not the replacement of any parts or components. If
FLAT TIRE INSURANCE is purchased in conjunction with a SERVICE PROGRAM, the cost is still $20 for the length
of the contract and is subject to terms of FLAT TIRE INSURANCE listed above.
(3) The “WEAR and TEAR” EXTENDED WARRANTY is available in either three or five year plans. Coverage
begins after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. Wear and tear coverage begins after one year from the date of
bicycle purchase. It extends the factory warranty protecting against defective manufacturing as well as covers labor
and replacement parts due to normal wear and tear. This includes chains, cassettes/freewheels, chainrings, brake
pads, bearing maintenance, cables and housing. While on vacation or out of town, bring your covered bicycle to any
participating Red Shield dealer for repairs.
None of the contracts listed here cover tires, batteries, accessory installation, crash damage repair, or any
component damaged by misuse or neglect. These contracts apply only to the bike listed above and cannot be
transferred, exchanged or returned.
