TASTING NOTES
After two stellar vintages, the third installment of Rage Zinfandel has everyone
wanting more! Cigar box, white pepper and saddle leather at first, but tame oak
allows plenty of dark cherry and plum to slowly morph this Dry Creek Zin into a
blackberry liquor. Elegant, sophisticated and smooth, this wine is “all the Rage!”
HISTORY
One of the states original Zinfandel hot spots, Dry Creek Valley is the home to
our newest indulgent offering, Rage. The grapes for this unique wine come from
a 45+ year old head pruned vineyard located on the southern edge of Dry Creek.
With it’s rocky red soils and hillside slope the vineyard produces a nice peppery
edged Zin befitting of the Rage name!
