Dear Property Owner:
Thank you for taking the time to review and submit a Private Property Improvement Program
(PPIP) application. The goal of the program is to remove blighting influences from the
neighborhood. Your application will be reviewed by a staff committee that will evaluate your
proposed project based on Need, Improvement Impact and Cost. You will receive a letter from
the City of Bowling Green stating one of the following:
• Project Approval
• Project Denial
• Recommendation for Alternate Project
You cannot proceed until you receive a Project Approval Letter from the City of Bowling
Green. Any expenses incurred prior to receiving a Project Approval Letter will not be approved.
Depending on the project, we may have to complete a review of the property and that process
could take 90 days. You will receive your letter once all reviews have been completed.
These funds are only for properties located in Census Block Group 105.2, please see attached
