Are you improving upon your best in every lesson, every day? ATTENDANCE CHALLENGE Starting from Monday 30th January, the whole of the GLC are taking part in an Attendance Challenge. Our houses, Armstrong, Redgrave, Seacole and Shakespeare will be competing against the overall attendance of the other GLC houses. There are 21 in total. Currently, Armstrong are in 4th place across the GLC. Herringham won the Autumn Term challenge recently, and are really keen to hang on to our championship title! Let’s look for 100% attendance! ATTENDANCE 3 Strong were our stars again last week, achieving 97.3%Issue attendance! Friday 11th November 26 Well done 3 Strong – excellent attendance for two weeks running! Other classes meeting or beating our target were:R Ahlberg 96.7% 2 Tomlinson 96.7% 4 Lewis 96.7% 4 Fine 96.3% Classes not managing to meet our target of 96% were: R Rosen 95% 1 Donaldson 94.5% 5 Pullman 94.3% 6 Horowitz 93.7% 3 Browne 92% 1 Hughes 91.7% 6 Sachar 91% 2 Child 90.3% 5 Morpurgo 88.7% PUNCTUALITY Well it has to be some sort of record – once again, every single class lost learning time last week – not one single class managed to have all of their children arrive on time. A total of 16 hours and 35 minutes learning time was lost; considering that the school day is only 5 hours, that is more than three days learning time lost across the school. School starts at 8.45am every morning. The doors are open from 8.30am onwards for registration. If you arrive after 8.45am then your child is late for school. If your child is late, then they need to do catch up at break time. DIARY DATES…….
