Poet Laureate of Norwalk
Laurel Peterson, Norwalk’s Poet Laureate, will lead an
Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop using the art created by SPAG
(St. Phillips Artist’s Guild)on display in the Mayor’s Gallery.
Ekphrastic poetry is poetry written in response to an art work,
where the author comments on or interacts with the action of the work, or
connects the art with some aspect of his/her life.
Famous ekphrastic poems include Keat's "Ode on a Grecian Urn"

Please bring something to write with (pen, pencils) and paper.
