On December 26, 1957, Father Augustine
Fuentes interviewed Sister Lucy at her convent in
Coimbra, Portugal. Later, with an imprimatur and
the approbation of the Bishop of Fatima, Father
Fuentes published the following revelations
concerning the Third Secret, revealed to him by
Sister Lucy during that interview - extract follows:

Father, the Most Holy Virgin is very sad because
no one has paid any attention to Her message,
neither the good nor the bad. The good continue
on their way but without giving any importance to
Her message. The bad, not seeing the
punishment of God actually falling upon them,
continue their life of sin without even caring about
the message. But believe me, Father, God will
chastise the world and this will be in a terrible
manner. The punishment from Heaven is
imminent.
Father, how much time is there before 1960
arrives? It will be very sad for everyone, not one
person will rejoice at all if beforehand the world
does not pray and do penance. I am not able to
give any other details because it is still a secret.
This is the third part of the Message of Our Lady,
which will remain secret until 1960.
Tell them, Father, that many times the most Holy
Virgin told my cousins Francisco and Jacinta, as
well as myself, that many nations will disappear
from the face of the earth. She said that Russia
will be the instrument of chastisement chosen by
Heaven to punish the whole world if we do not
beforehand obtain the conversion of that poor
nation.
Father, the devil is in the mood for engaging in a
decisive battle against the Blessed Virgin. And the
devil knows what it is that most offends God and
which in a short space of time will gain for him the
greatest number of souls. Thus, the devil does
everything to overcome souls consecrated to God,
because in this way, the devil will succeed in
leaving the souls of the faithful abandoned by their
leaders, thereby the more easily will he seize
them.
"The message of Our Lady of Fatima is
addressed to every human being ... This
message imposes an obligation on the
Church." Pope John Paul II, May 13, 1982
That which afflicts the Immaculate Heart of Mary
and the Heart of Jesus is the fall of religious and
priestly souls. The devil knows that religious and
priests who fall away from their beautiful vocation
drag numerous souls to hell... The devil wishes to
take possession of consecrated souls. He tries to
corrupt them in order to lull to sleep the souls of
lay people and thereby lead them to final
impenitence.

The Apparitions at Fatima 1917
Summary of each apparition…
Taken from
‘Sister Lucia: Apostle of Mary’s Immaculate Heart’ by Mark Fellows
Lady: I am of Heaven.
best of mirrors. Then, moved by an interior impulse
that was also communicated to us, we fell on our
knees, repeating in our hearts: ‘O Most Holy Trinity,
I adore You! My God, my God, I love You in the most
Blessed Sacrament!’
Lucia: What do you want of me?
13 June, 1917
Lady: I have come to ask you to come here for six
months in succession, on the thirteenth day, at this
same hour. Later on, I will tell you who I am and
what I want. Afterwards, I will return here a seventh
time.
Lady: Pray the Rosary every day, and learn to read.
Later I will tell you what I want.
13 May, 1917
Lady: Do not be afraid. I will do you no harm”
Lucia: Where do you come from?
Lucia: Shall I go to Heaven too?
Lady: Yes, you will.
Lucia: And Jacinta?
Lady: She will go also.
Lucia: And Francisco?
Lucia: I would like to ask you to take us to Heaven.
Lady: I will take Jacinta and Francisco soon. But you
are to stay here some time longer. Jesus wishes to
make use of you to make me known and loved. He
wants to establish in the world devotion to my
Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who
embrace it, and those souls will be loved by God like
flowers placed by me to adorn His throne…
Lady: Then you will have much to suffer, but the
grace of God will be your comfort.
[At close of the apparition], Lucia said: Our Lady
opened her hands for a second time. She
communicated to us the rays of light in which
we saw ourselves, as it were, immersed in
God. Jacinta and Francisco seemed to be
in that part of the light which rose towards
Heaven, and I in that which was poured
out on the earth. In front of the palm of
Our Lady’s right hand was a circle
encircled by thorns which pierced it. We
understood that this was the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, outraged by the sins of humanity, and
seeking reparation.
Lady: Pray the Rosary every day, in order to obtain
peace for the world, and the end of the war.
13 July, 1917
Lady: He will go there too, but he must say many
Rosaries…
Lady: Are you willing to offer yourselves to God
and bear all the sufferings He wills to send you, as
an act of reparation for the sins by which He is
offended, and of supplication for the conversion of
sinners?
Lucia: Yes, we are willing.
The Lady then opened her hands while
speaking, and in so doing communicated to
the children “a light so intense that as it
streamed from her hands, its rays
penetrated our hearts and the innermost
depths of our souls, making us see
ourselves in God, Who was that Light,
more clearly than we see ourselves in the
Lucia: What does Your Excellency want from me?
Lady: I want you to come here on the 13th of next
month, to continue to pray the Rosary every day in
honour of Our Lady of the Rosary, in order to obtain
peace for the world and the end of the war, because
only she can help you.
Lucia: I would like to ask you to tell us who you are
and to work a miracle so that everybody will believe
that you are appearing to us.
Lady: Continue to come here every month. In
October I will tell you who I am and what I want, and
I will perform a miracle for all to see and believe…
Sacrifice yourself for sinners, and say many times,
especially when you make some sacrifice: O Jesus,
it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners,
and in reparation for the sins committed against the
Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Then followed the apparition of Hell - see p. 4
13 August 1917
The children were kidnapped and imprisoned by
the Masonic Administrator (‘mayor’) and did not
attend the apparition; still, Our Lady appeared and
many miraculous phenomena were observed by
the large crowd.
19 August 1917 at Valinhos
On August 19th, Our Lady appeared to the three
seers, as they tended sheep on the property of an
uncle in Valinhos.
Lucia: What do you want of me?
Lady: I want you to continue going to the Cova da
Iria on the 13th, and to continue praying the Rosary
every day. In the last month, I will perform a miracle
so that all may believe. If you had not been taken
away to the city, the miracle would have been even
greater. St Joseph will come with the Child Jesus,
to give peace to the world. Our Lord will come to
bless the people. Our Lady of the Rosary and Our
Lady of Sorrows will also come.
Lucia: What do you want done with the money that
the people leave in the Cova da Iria?

Lady: Have two litters made. One is to be carried by
you and Jacinta and two other girls dressed in white;
the other one is to be carried by Francisco and three
other boys. The money from the litter is for the festa
of Our Lady of the Rosary, and what is left over will
help towards the construction of a chapel that is to
be built here… [Then looking very sad…]
The Vision The Mystery
“Etc”…
of Hell
Lady: Pray, pray very much, and make sacrifices for
sinners; for many souls go to hell because there are
none to sacrifice themselves and to pray for them.
[One day, after the above apparition, Lucia found a
heavy rope on the road, which she found hurt when
wrapped round her arm. All three children decided
to wear it as a penance.]
13 September 1917
Lucia: What do you want of me?
Lady: Continue to pray the Rosary in order to obtain
the end of the war. In October, Our Lord will come,
as well as Our Lady of Dolours and Our Lady of
Carmel. St Joseph will appear with the Child Jesus
to bless the world. God is pleased with your
sacrifices. He does not want you to sleep with the
rope on, but only to wear it during the daytime.
Lucia: I was told to ask you many things, the cure of
some sick people, a deaf-mute…
Lady: Yes. I will cure some, but not others. In
October, I will perform a miracle so that all may
believe.
[There were more clergy present than at any of the
other apparitions, like Monsignor John Quaresma,
Vicar General of the Diocese of Leiria. He saw the
globe of light depart to the east, and asked a
companion what he thought. “That it was Our Lady”,
he replied without hesitation.]
13 October 1917
Lucia: What do you want of me?
Lady: I want to tell you that a chapel is to be built
here in my honour. I am the Lady of the Rosary.
Continue always to pray the Rosary every day. The
war is going to end, and the soldiers will soon return
to their homes.
Lucia: I have many things to ask you: the cure of
some sick persons, the conversion of sinners, and
other things…
Lady: Some, yes, but not others. They must amend
their lives and ask forgiveness for their sins. [Looking
very sad]…
Lady: Do not offend the Lord our God any more,
because He is already so much offended…
Then followed the miracle of the sun - see
page 5 for an eyewitness account.
The children, after the vision of Hell
The Lady told Lucia: …Sacrifice yourselves for
sinners, and say many times, especially whenever
you make some sacrifice: ‘O Jesus, it is for love of
You, and for the conversion of sinners, and in
reparation for the sins committed against the
Immaculate Heart of Mary.’
“As Our Lady spoke these last words (Lucia said)
she opened her hands once more, as she had done
during the two previous months. The rays of
light appeared to penetrate the earth, and
we saw, as it were, a vast sea of fire.
Plunged in this fire were demons and
souls in human form like transparent
burning embers, all blackened or
burnished bronze, floating about in that
conflagration, now raised into the air by
the flames which issued from within
themselves, together with great clouds
of smoke, now falling back on every
side like sparks in huge fires, without
weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of
pain and despair, which horrified us and made us
tremble with fear (it must have been this sight which
caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me).
The demons could be distinguished by their
terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and
unknown animals, black and transparent like burning
coals. That vision only lasted for a moment, thanks
to our good Heavenly Mother, Who at the first
apparition had promised to take us to Heaven.
Without that, I think that we would have died of terror
and fear."
The Explanation of the Vision
Our Lady said to us, so kindly and so sadly: “You
have seen Hell where the souls of poor sinners go.
To save them, God wishes to establish in the world
devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to
you is done, many souls will be saved and there will
be peace. The war is going to end, but if people do
not cease offending God, a worse one will break out
during the reign of Pius XI. When you see a night
illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the
great sign given you by God, that He is about to
punish the world for its crimes, by means of war,
famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the
Holy Father.
To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the
Consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart,
and the Communion of Reparation on the First
Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will
be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she
will spread her errors throughout the world, causing
wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will
be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to
suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end,
my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father
will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be
converted, and a period of peace will be granted to
the world. In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will
always be preserved etc.” [see column 3]
Our Lady then taught the children a prayer to add
to the end of each mystery of the Rosary: O my
Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of
Hell, Take all souls to Heaven, especially those in
most need.
In her Fourth Memoir (dated December 8, 1941),
Sister Lucy copied the first two parts of the Fatima
Secret word-for-word including what appears to be
the conclusion to the whole Secret: In the end, My
Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will
consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted,
and a period of peace will be granted to the world.
Sister Lucy then immediately added the following
text to her Fourth Memoir: In Portugal the dogma of
the Faith will always be preserved etc.
Commentary
Fatima scholars have been unanimous in their belief
that this phrase begins the third part of the Secret
and the word "etc." that Sister Lucy wrote indicates
the rest of the words Our Lady spoke in the text of
the Third Secret.
Here it must be noted that immediately following the
words "In Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always
be preserved etc.", Our Lady said to Sister Lucy:
"Tell this to no one. Yes you may tell it to Francisco."
The "this" that can be told to Francisco refers to the
last thing said during the vision. If it was only a vision,
without an explanation, then Francisco didn't need
to be told anything, because he had just seen it
himself already. But if "this" refers to additional words
of the Virgin by way of explanation of the vision, then
Francisco would have to be told because, as we
know, he could not hear Our Lady during the
Fatima apparitions. Francisco saw but did not
hear, and would thus have needed to be informed
about what Our Lady had said about the vision.
Nor can one argue plausibly that "you may tell it to
Francisco" refers merely to the words Our Lady
spoke during the second part of the Secret. The
phrase "Tell this to no one. Yes, you may tell it to
Francisco" follows immediately after "In Portugal the
dogma of the Faith will always be preserved etc."
Clearly, then, the "etc." indicates the words, not yet
written down, that Sister Lucy could tell Francisco
orally. Those words clearly belong to the Third
Secret, which was finally written down in 1944 under
orders from the Bishop of Fatima.
Editor’s note…
We’ve discussed the “etc” on our blog many
times, and concluded that, since Portugal
has not kept the Faith any more than any
other part of the world during this crisis, Our
Lady may have indicated that where the
traditional Faith is kept, in Portugal and
elsewhere, there the Faith will survive. In
Portugal the dogma of the Faith will be kept
by a faithful remnant…
[with the remainder of the third part of the
Message outlining the crisis to come]
“Pope John Paul II hinted that the [full
disclosure of the]Third Secret would be
embarrassing to Church authorities because it
concerns a crisis of faith and discipline for which
they themselves are responsible” (Christopher
A. Ferrara: The Secret Still Hidden, p.39)

The Miracle of the Sun
An Eyewitness Account by Dr. José Maria de Almeida Garrett,
professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Coimbra, Portugal.
It must have been 1:30 p.m when there arose, at the
exact spot where the children were, a column of
smoke, thin, fine and bluish, which extended up to
perhaps two meters above their heads, and
evaporated at that height. This phenomenon,
perfectly visible to the naked eye, lasted for a few
seconds. Not having noted how long it had lasted, I
cannot say whether it was more or less than a
minute. The smoke dissipated abruptly, and after
some time, it came back to occur a second time, then
a third time.
The sky, which had been overcast all day, suddenly
cleared; the rain stopped and it looked as if the sun
were about to fill with light the countryside that the
wintry morning had made so gloomy. I was looking
at the spot of the apparitions in a serene, if cold,
expectation of something happening and with
diminishing curiosity because a long time had passed
without anything to excite my attention. The sun, a
few moments before, had broken through the thick
layer of clouds which hid it and now shone clearly
and intensely.
disc, with its sharp edge, which gleamed without
hurting the sight. It could not be confused with the
sun seen through a fog (there was no fog at that
moment), for it was neither veiled nor dim. At Fatima,
it kept its light and heat, and stood out clearly in the
sky, with a sharp edge, like
a large gaming table. The
most astonishing thing was
to be able to stare at the
solar disc for a long time,
brilliant with light and heat,
without hurting the eyes or
damaging the retina.
[During this time], the sun's
disc did not remain immobile, it had a giddy motion,
[but] not like the twinkling of a star in all its brilliance
for it spun round upon itself in a mad whirl.
taking on the colour of old yellow damask. People
looked as if they were suffering from jaundice and I
recall a sensation of amusement at seeing them look
so ugly and unattractive. My own hand was the same
colour. "Then, suddenly, one heard a clamour, a cry
of anguish breaking from all the people. The sun,
whirling wildly, seemed all at once to loosen itself
from the firmament and, blood red, advance
threateningly upon the earth as if to crush us with its
huge and fiery weight. The sensation during those
moments was truly terrible.
All the phenomena which I have described were
observed by me in a calm and serene state of mind
without any emotional disturbance. It is for others to
interpret and explain them.
Finally, I must declare that never, before or after
October 13 [1917], have I observed similar

Secular newspapers reported the
miracle of the sun at the time…
Avelino de Almeida was a journalist for the
pro-government, anti-clerical daily O Seculo. He
had lampooned the apparitions for weeks. Present
at the Cova on 13 October, he wrote this report:
One could see the immense multitude turn
towards the sun, which appeared free from clouds
and in its zenith. It looked like a plaque of dull
silver, and it was possible to look at it without the
least discomfort. It might have been an eclipse
which was taking place. But at that moment a great
shout went up and one could hear the spectators
nearest at hand shouting: ‘A miracle! A miracle!’
Before the astonished eyes of the crowd, whose
aspect was biblical as they stood bareheaded,
eagerly searching the sky, the sun trembled, made
sudden incredible movements outside all cosmic
laws - the sun ‘danced’ according to the typical
expression of the people.”

Mary’s Immaculate Heart by Mark Fellows.]

The True Purpose
of Ecumenism Phase Two: Linguistic Convergence
John Ingram
John Ingram
Judging from the evidence, Freemasonry has decreed that the Catholic Church must follow a dual
ecumenical path toward integration into a “One
World Religion”: a blurring and dissolution of boundaries between the Church and the other “Christian”
religions, and also with non-Christian religions.
Progress toward the first aspect took a giant leap
with the Protestantized new Sacraments - especially the new Mass and the new priesthood - and the
Protestantized new catechesis. These Trojan horses, in place for almost 50 years now, are having
their desired effect: the “silent apostasy” among the
faithful (i.e. a mass exodus), and the “Great Apostasy” among the hierarchy (i.e. a mass betrayal).
Progress toward the second aspect was jump-started by the Assisi and Koran-kissing scandals, and
continues unabated.
Psywar, however, also requires the proper attitude:
developing a sense of respect, solidarity, brotherhood and unity among dialogue partners by teaching them to speak the same language. Enter the
language of brotherhood, which is either an ambiguous, warm-and-fuzzy sentimentality (obscuring
heresy and apostasy), or an avoidance of religious
terminology altogether in favor of “social justice”
jargon which mimics the fraudulent UN agenda.
This article will survey the social justice component
of this language, which I’m calling “linguistic convergence.” I will compile language samples from three
major pan-religious groups, and juxtapose them
with language samples from three Pontifical Councils (words in bold font are my emphases). The
three pan-religious groups are: The World Council
of Churches, The Parliament of the World’s Religions, and The United Religions Initiative. The three
Pontifical Councils are: the Pontifical Council for
Promoting Christian Unity, the Pontifical Council for
Interreligious Dialogue, and the Pontifical Council
for Justice and Peace.
The World Council of Churches (WCC), founded in
1948, is “a community of [348 Protestant and Orthodox] churches on the way to visible unity in one
faith and one eucharistic fellowship, expressed
in worship and in common life in Christ. It seeks to
advance towards this unity…The historical roots
of the World Council of Churches are found in
student and lay movements of the 19th century, the
1910 Edinburgh world missionary conference, and
a 1920 encyclical from the (Orthodox) Synod of
Constantinople suggesting a "fellowship of churches" similar to the League of Nations.”
Wikipedia’s article documents claims that the KGB
“infiltrated and influenced past WCC councils and
policy.” The Church “is not a formal member of the
WCC, but works in close cooperation with it and has
done so for more than three decades now. The
Church sends observers to all major WCC confer-

ences as well as to its Central Committee meetings
and the Assemblies. The Vatican's Pontifical
Council for Promoting Christian Unity also nominates 12 members to the WCC's Faith and Order
Commission as full members.”
WCC positions include support of “climate change”
(aka “climate justice”), women’s ordination, gay and
lesbian ordination, transgenderism (aka “Just Gender Relations”) and committed homosexual relationships as equivalent to heterosexual. In addition, it
tolerates a broad variety of heretical beliefs, such as
Spiritism, Animism and Gnosticism.
Website language compilation: “Climate change is
happening in the here and now. Therefore, it is
critical that we ensure the Paris Agreement is
implemented in a way which leaves no one behind… As COP 22 [22nd Conference of the Parties]
has been labelled the “COP of action” we are urged
to act now to address climate change. The implementation requires decentralized gender-just solutions… to challenge dominant patterns of
growth and consumption that cause climate
change… climate justice needs to mean more
than solidarity with the victims of climate change…
Acts of service, such as providing education,
health care, relief services and acts of justice and
advocacy are an integral part of witnessing to the
gospel… build relationships of respect and trust
with people of all religions… cooperate with other
religious communities engaging in interreligious
advocacy towards justice and the common good…
Our faith compels us to seek justice, to witness to
the presence of God and to be part of the lives and
struggles of people made weak and vulnerable by
structures and cultures—women, children, people living in poverty in both urban and rural
areas, Indigenous Peoples, racially oppressed
communities, people with disabilities, Dalits,
forced migrant workers, refugees and religious
ethnic minorities.”
The Parliament of the World’s Religions was founded in 1893 at The World's Congress of Religion's
[sic] at the World's Columbian Exposition, in Chicago. Its interfaith mission is to “cultivate harmony
among the world's religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the
world and its guiding institutions in order to achieve
a just, peaceful and sustainable world.”
This group is also explicitly tied to the agenda of the
United Nations. Their website features support for
the following: the United Nations 2017 World Interfaith Harmony Week; the Paris Climate Agreement; Multiculturalism; Sustainability; a
“Universal Rejection of Trump Censorship”; the
“Dignity of Women”; and “A Statement to the
Interfaith Community on the Exclusionary Actions of
the American Government.” The Parliament is
headquartered in Chicago, the Archdiocese of the
notorious liberal, Cardinal Cupich. In 1925, G.K.
Chesterton portrayed the PWR as “a pantheon for
pantheists.”
Website language compilation: “The Parliament of
the World’s Religions enters 2017 convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that the reality and basic
causes of climate change are settled science…
reduce and eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by
reforming patterns of production and consumption, decreasing reliance on fossil fuels, promoting
renewable energy and energy efficiency, and promoting

vital nexus of women’s dignity, human rights, religion and spirituality…diverse programming that
shares and celebrates the value of feminine wisdom, inspires with feminine principles in action,
strengthens women’s spiritual engagement and
leadership and nurtures a global root system of
women’s spirituality… the most serious, pervasive
and ignored violations of basic human rights are
those against women, due in part to distorted religious texts and extremism and the devaluation
of the feminine. Sikhs, Muslims, Jews, and other
minorities are increasingly targets of hate in America. These attacks are sanctioned by a political
culture that tolerates hate speech and promotes
xenophobia.” Their website also asks for signatures on the following declarations: On Climate
Change; On Hate Speech, War and Violence; On
Income Inequality; On Upholding the Human
Rights and Dignity of Women; On Standing with
Indigenous Peoples.
The United Religions Initiative was launched in 2000
by Episcopal “Bishop” William Swing in San Francisco, to promote interfaith cooperation, end religiously motivated violence, and “to create cultures of
peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all
living beings.” The Preamble of its Charter places
a heavy emphasis on “unity” and mutual respect,
on several levels. The URI claims to be a “bridgebuilding organization,” not a religion. Its members
form “Cooperation Circles,” small self-governing
groups which may “organize in any manner and
around any issue or activity.” Its “Guidelines for
Action” highlight interfaith dialogue, “environmental welfare” (aka “climate change”) and “Sustainable Just Economics.”
Language compilation from Charter: “We value voices that respect others; we unite for the benefit of
our Earth community; we unite to build cultures of
peace and justice; we unite to heal and protect
the Earth; we unite in responsible cooperative action to bring the wisdom and values of our religions,
spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions to

Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development expresses the Holy See’s concern for issues
of justice and peace, including those related to
migration, health, charitable works and the care
of creation. The Dicastery also expresses the Holy
Father’s care for suffering humanity, including the
needy, the sick and the excluded, and pays special attention to the needs and issues of those who
are forced to flee their homeland, the stateless,
the marginalized, victims of armed conflicts and
natural disasters, the imprisoned, the unemployed, victims of contemporary forms of slavery and torture, and others whose dignity is
endangered. A Section of the Dicastery deals specifically with matters regarding refugees and migrants. When Pope Francis addressed this
Assembly [the Council] on September 25 last
[2015], he referred to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as ‘an important sign of
hope.’ This hope, he went on, will come to concrete
fruition only if the Agenda is truly, fairly and effectively realized, and even more importantly, if its
framework is sustainable. Today the earth, our

groans join those of all the world’s forsaken and

urging each and every one – individuals, families,
local communities, nations and the international
community – to an ‘ecological conversion.’ In the
encyclical Laudato si’, the Holy Father argues that
‘climate change is a global problem with grave
implications: environmental, social, economic, political and for the distribution of goods.’”
3. Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian
Unity. “THE SEARCH FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY:
Catholics are to act in hope and in prayer to promote Christian unity. The Council was able to
embrace the ecumenical movement because it understood the church as a whole as movement,
namely as the people of God on the move…in
ecumenism the church enters into an exchange of
gifts with the separated churches, enriches them,
but also reciprocally makes their gifts its own, adds
them to its catholic fullness and thus fully realises its
own catholicity. The World Council of Churches
and the Catholic Church have enjoyed a fruitful
ecumenical relationship dating back to the time of
the Second Vatican Council. When Christians pray
together, ‘the goal of unity seems closer.’ …the
Churches and Ecclesial Community are engaging
and collaborating on the Decade to Overcome Violence.”
These compilations demonstrate that the language
of brotherhood employed by Catholic and non-Catholic sources is practically identical. The most comprehensive Church usage of this common language

Moreover, in addition to embracing the fraudulent

have endured an extraordinary variety of insults,
such as “self-absorbed, Promethean neoPelagians,” “rigid, funeral Christians,” “fundamentalists,”
“Pharasaical,” and the like (for a complete list, see
The Pope Francis Little Book of Insults).
Faithful Catholics, beware this deluded Marxist Pope

Who is my
neighbour?
consumer-protection case originating from Scotland,
the court’s decision is still of importance in both
Britain and the Commonwealth. It continues to give
an answer to the question, although less extensive
than one might expect in Christian ethics.
The court’s responded as follows:
The rule that you are to love your neighbour
becomes in law, you must not injure your neighbour;
and the lawyer’s question, Who is my neighbour?
receives a restricted reply. You must take reasonable
care to avoid acts or omissions which you can
reasonably foresee would be likely to injure your
neighbour. Who, then, in law is my neighbour? The
answer seems to be - persons who are so closely
and directly affected by my act that I ought
reasonably to have them in contemplation as being
so affected when I am directing my mind to the acts
or omissions which are called in question.
The highest court also quoted the decision of a lower
court, and made it part of its own judgment: a duty
to take due care arises when the person or property
of one was in such proximity to the person or
property of another that, if due care was not taken,
damage might be done by the one to the other. I think
that this sufficiently states the truth if proximity be
not confined to mere physical proximity, but be used,
as I think it was intended, to extend to such close
and direct relations that the act complained of directly
affects a person whom the person alleged to be
bound to take care would know would be directly
affected by his careless act. (Donoghue vs.
Stevenson [1932] Appeal Cases 562 at 580f.)
Thus we have some practical guidance about which
people and whose property we ought to have in mind
when trying to fulfil Matthew 19:18, Matthew 22: 39,
Mark 12:31, Mark 12:33, Luke 10:27, Romans 13:9,
Galatians 5:14 and James 2:8, and Didache 1.2. The
Didache was a church manual and moral guidebook,
a sort of code of Christian law or ethics, which may
predate the Gospel of Matthew. Its relevant verse
teaches: ‘love your neighbour as yourself, and do
not do to another what you would not want done to
you.’
Dr W. T. Brattson
The principle is ancient indeed, at least as old as the
Law of Moses: ‘Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any
grudge against the children of thy people, but thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.’

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this;
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Galatians

lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master,
what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto
him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy
neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou
hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But
he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And
who is my neighbour? (Luke 10:25-29 KJV)2
The question ‘who is my neighbour?’ was answered
by another lawyer, in an assembly of lawyers, in the
highest court in the United Kingdom. An early

Re: report on Sacred Heart, parish, Bridgeton,
Glasgow, CT, Issue # 98 January, 2017…
One rumour [going round the Protestant community]
is [Monsignor Conroy] got rid of a house keeper who
was there for years and replaced her with a new
younger dominant woman.
What I will say is that the previous priest Rev Dunn
was more respected by the biblical Protestants but
they also wanted to see him go because he was
growing that Church. I know he was attacked by a
thug but then helped by Protestants who pulled him
out the way. As he was more traditional he was more
a threat to the different strands of Protestantism. The
new priest isn't a threat as he is more liberal who
gives the image of a traditionalist. He apparently was
in the frame to be a Bishop at one point.

Re: report on Sacred Heart, parish, Bridgeton,
Glasgow, CT, Issue # 98 January, 2017…
I would like to make two comments about the recent
sources of scandal in our church in Scotland.
I would refer the clergy to Chaucer's remarks about
the poor parson of the town and ask them to take
them to heart: He taught the lore of Christ's apostles
twelve But first he followed them himself.
My second remark is addressed to those who are
looking to condemn the misconduct of others. Jesus
made clear his approach to such situations when He
spoke the words: Let those without sin amongst you
cast the first stone. [Ed: in a subsequent email, the
writer did acknowledge that Christ also added: “Go and sin
no more.”]
Compassion, forgiveness and charity must characterise our treatment of others.
Name & Address Withheld On Request
Ed: Christ’s compassion, forgiveness and charity is reserved for those who repent of their sins. The idea that it
is charitable to condone sin has, of course, grown up
around the person of Pope Francis in his apparent belief
that Christ doesn’t mind certain sins. This is not the case.
We have it from Christ Himself: If you love Me, you will
keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)
Reporting scandals, as we sometimes do, and as the
secular media does all the time, is not to lack charity. We
never make definitive judgements about anyone - that is
all that is forbidden to us; nowhere in our January (or any
other) exposé do we say that the subjects of the report
would go to Hell. They may - certainly if there is more than
the “appearance” of scandal. Any of us who break God’s
law may suffer Hell. That’s a theological given. Thus, it is
a duty, in charity, to warn anyone in danger of being lost
for all eternity, but that is not the same thing as “condemning” them; we must condemn scandal, always and everywhere, but that doesn’t necessitate condemning the
individual whom, we must pray, may repent and turn away
from that situation or sin.

I have every back edition which I keep in a trunk and
re-read constantly - needless to say it is now
overflowing.
Before coming to Corby in the late ‘60’s I grew up
in a wonderful parish - the Immaculate Conception
in Maryhill, Glasgow, and I thank God every day of
my life for such a blessing.
However, along came Vatican II, and the solid
ground vanished from beneath my feet. I felt as
though I was hanging in a black universe.
I well remember the complete confusion of my
relatives and friends who, of course, at that time
thought the Church couldn’t be wrong - yet also
knew all these changes couldn’t be right. We were
all lost in the wilderness.
Many gave up and stopped going to Mass but soon
had to return because we couldn’t live with this new
‘Mass’, yet we couldn’t live without the Church. After
almost fifty years of ‘praying in the wilderness’ for
the return of the true Mass, a wonderful young priest
finally came to our town and I can, once more, get
down on my knees to receive Our Blessed Lord as
He should be received - kneeling and by mouth.
Glory be to God!
I can also, once again, find and communicate with
the Almighty in the beautiful silence of the Latin
Mass: no more to-ing and fro-ing of readers around
the altar; or laity distributing the Blessed Sacrament;
or disruption of handshaking and so on.
For that one hour I am as close to Heaven as it is
possible to be on this earth - I weep with happiness
and when it finally comes to an end I wish that good
and holy priest would begin the Mass all over again.
I shall soon be eighty years old but when I leave the
church all my pains and aches have vanished and,
like Gene Kelly, I feel like ‘dancing and singing’ all
the way home!
I lend out my ‘Catholic Truth’s to like-minded
Catholics who are wondering about this modern
Church - but I always ask for them to be returned
again, as I like to constantly re-read them.
Your ‘Catholic Truth’ has been a gift from God in
hours of darkness. It was so wonderful to discover
that there are still Catholics out there fighting for the
true Faith. So, please continue to fight the good
fight. We need you! Mrs Kathleen Brodie, Corby,

PRAYERS TAUGHT AT FATIMA…
The first prayer was introduced by
the Angel of Peace (believed to be
St. Michael) who appeared to the
three child seers, Lucy, Jacinta, and
Francisco, three times in 1916, to
help prepare the children for the
apparitions of Our Lady in 1917.
The children were tending their
sheep, had just finished praying the
Rosary and had begun to play a
game, when suddenly they saw “a
young man whiter than snow,
transparent as crystal when the sun
shines through it, and of great
beauty” — this is the image
described by the children.
He said, “Do not be afraid! I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.”
The angel then knelt on the ground and bowed down touching his forehead to the ground, and the children
imitated his example. Here is the prayer the angel taught the children:
“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask forgiveness for those who do not believe,
do not adore, do not hope, do not love Thee!”
The angel repeated the words of the prayer three times and before he disappeared, he told the children,
“Pray thus. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications.”
The next prayer taught by the angel was the third time he appeared to them in 1916:
“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly, and I offer Thee the Most
Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ, present in the Tabernacles
of the world, in reparation for the sacrileges, outrages and indifferences by which He is offended.
And by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the
conversion of poor sinners.”
May 13, 1917 is the date of the first
apparition of Our Lady at Fatima to the
three shepherd children. Our Lady
asked the children: “Are you willing to
offer yourselves to God and bear all
the sufferings He wills to send you,
as an act of reparation for the sins
by which He is offended, and of
supplication for the conversion of
sinners?” The children answered
“Yes, we are.” Our Lady then told
the children, “Then you are going
to have much to suffer but the
Grace of God will be your
comfort.”
She then opened Her hands
“communicating a light so intense
that, as it streamed from Her
hands, its rays penetrated our
hearts and the innermost depths
of our souls, making us see ourselves in
God ...” (description given by Lucy of Fatima).
It was then that the children were “moved by an inner
impulse” at which point they fell on their knees and
by Divine inspiration they prayed the following prayer:
O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee; My God, My
God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
On July 13, the third apparition of Our Lady to the
three children, She taught them the Prayer of
Reparatory Offering. She said to the children
“Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many
times, especially when you make some sacrifice:
O My Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the
conversion of sinners and in reparation for sins
committed against the Immaculate Heart of
Mary, I offer this sacrifice to Thee.”
It was during the same apparition that Our Lady
said to the children, “When you say the Rosary,
pray after each mystery:
O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from
the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven,
especially those most in need.”
In August 1931, the
final prayers of
Fatima were given to
Sister Lucy by Our
Lord. Due to illness,
Sister Lucy was
staying with a friend
at Rianjo, Spain, a
small maritime city
near Pontevedra, to
rest and recover. It
was in the chapel
here that the
Messenger of Fatima
was once again given a communication from
Heaven. Our Lord complained to Sister Lucy of
the tardiness of His ministers who delay the
Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart
of Mary, as requested by Our Lady of Fatima on
June 13, 1929 at Tuy, two years and two months
earlier.
Sister Lucy reported to her bishop the important
revelation - “My confessor ordered me to inform
Your Excellency about what happened a little while
ago, between our Good God and myself: As I was
asking God for the conversion of Russia, Spain and
Portugal, it seemed that His Divine Majesty said to
me: ‘You console Me a great deal in asking Me for
the conversion of those poor nations: Request it
also of My Mother, while saying to Her often:
Sweet Heart of Mary, be the salvation of Russia,
Spain, Portugal, Europe and the whole world.
‘At other times say:
By Thy Pure and Immaculate Conception, O Mary,
obtain for me the conversion of Russia, Spain,
Portugal, Europe and the whole world.’”
Our Lord: “Tell My
Ministers…”
Referring to the request for the Consecration of
Russia, Our Lord added:
‘Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow
the example of the King of France in delaying the
execution of My command, they will follow him into
misfortune. It is never too late to have recourse to
Jesus and Mary.’
In another text she wrote:
Later, through an intimate communication, Our Lord
complained to me: ‘They did not wish to heed My
request! ... Like the King of France they will repent
of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. Russia will
have already spread its errors in the world, provoking
wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy
Father will have much to suffer.’
Our Lord was here making an explicit reference to
the requests of the Sacred Heart given through Saint
Margaret Mary Alacoque on June 17, 1689 to the
King of France. As a result of the refusal of King
Louis XIV – as well as the refusal of both his son and
grandson, King Louis XV and King Louis XVI – to
publicly consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of
Jesus, as was requested by Heaven by means of a
recognized French Saint of that time, the Protestant
and Masonic Counter-Church successfully carried
out the great upheaval of the French Revolution.
On June 17, 1789, (the Feast of the Sacred Heart)
exactly one hundred years to the day from when
Saint Margaret Mary had written down the great
designs of Heaven for the King, the Third Estate
rose up and proclaimed itself a National
Assembly, stripping King Louis XVI of his
legislative power. On January 21, 1793, France,
ungrateful and rebellious to its God, dared to
decapitate its most Christian King as if he were
a criminal. At Rianjo, Jesus warns us that this
dark chapter of history will repeat itself, and this
time the ministers of His Church – the bishops,
and perhaps even the Pope himself – will be
among its hapless victims.
It would appear that this execution of the Pope, "the
Bishop dressed in White", together with other
bishops, priests, religious and lay people – as if they
were common criminals – is what is foretold in the
vision of Fatima released on June 26, 2000.

Thinking Through Catholic Truth
“I have come to Scotland to unteach heresy and to save souls”
Is Fatima A Private Revelation?
Throughout the ages, there have been so-called "private" revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the
Church. They do not belong, however, to the deposit of faith. It is not their role to improve or complete Christ's definitive
Revelation, but to help live more fully by it in a certain period of history. Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus
fidelium knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to
the Church. (Catechism of the Catholic Church #67)
There are several theological positions regarding the
Church’s obligation, and our own individual
obligation, to believe and obey Our Lady of Fatima.
There are those who say that Fatima is a “private
revelation”, and, therefore, we do not have to believe
in Fatima, nor are we, or even the Pope, obliged to
obey it. You can, so these people say, believe it if
you like, and fulfil the pious exercises it promotes if
you like, but you cannot tell anyone that he is bound
to believe and obey. There are priests and Fatima
organizations who claim to love Our Lady, who say
such things. Their position, although widely held, is
erroneous, is dangerous and could lead many who
hold this position ultimately straight to hell.
Fatima is in Biblical Prophecy
The first position upholding the Church’s obligation
to believe and obey Our Lady of Fatima is as follows:
the Message of Fatima is contained in Sacred
Scripture by way of prophecy. And that if it is
contained there, it is part of the Deposit of the Faith.
And if it is part of the Deposit of Faith, then we’re
bound to believe it with divine and Catholic Faith. In
other words, according to this position, the Fatima
Message is part of public revelation, guaranteed by
the Holy Ghost in Sacred Scripture. This theological
position is clearly directly opposed to those who say
“Fatima is a private revelation.”
I don’t hold this position as a certitude, but as you
will see, it is very useful to understand [partly
because] it could be true and might one day even be
the teaching of the Magisterium…
A Mortal Sin to Deny the Faith
The Church, in Her mercy and in Her love for souls,
has made it clear that certain things must be believed
in order to be saved. That’s why She’s made solemn
definitions. Whoever says or believes that which is
contrary to a solemn definition, let him be anathema.
Let him be cut off.
Now in our time many people in the Catholic Church
are losing that sense of dogma, according to the
Third Secret... But no man is excused from believing
the truths of the faith simply because many others
have lost their sense of dogma. Dogmatic Faith is
required for salvation. Not everyone knows all the
dogmatic teachings of the Magisterium, but all are
held to believe explicitly those things they know the
Church has solemnly defined as being of divine and
Catholic Faith.
Certainly theologians have the obligation to know
them and believe them more than lay persons.
But even a lay person, once a dogmatic teaching
has been brought to his attention, has the same
solemn obligation to believe as explicitly as a
theologian. St. Augustine tells us that not everyone
has the same gift of understanding, and that those
of us who are less gifted, because we have less
intelligence, have lesser obligations. But the
essential obligation is the same for everyone; that
is, that one must believe what God teaches. A refusal
to believe what God teaches is enough to damn you
to hell for all eternity. And so the chief argument of
this position is that the appearance of Our Lady at
Fatima is contained in Sacred Scripture, because it
is foretold in the Apocalypse Chapter 12. In other
words, if Our Lady’s appearance at Fatima in 1917
is in fact foretold in Sacred Scripture then we are
bound to believe it as a future event predicted that
has now come to pass. And as such, it is part of the
Deposit of Faith.
Remember I do not hold this position as certain;
however, I respect it and I have no argument against
it.
We Must Not Follow the Blind Leaders Who
Say You Can Ignore Fatima
Now, if it is true that Fatima is indeed contained in
prophecy in Sacred Scripture, we now, living today,
most solemnly have very special obligations. For
each of us right now may be facing eternal truths
that will determine our eternal destiny. We cannot
simply put this aside, ignore it or not reflect on it. We
cannot simply let others, even so-called experts,
decide for us like many did in Our Lord’s time. The
Pharisees were blind and leaders of the blind and
both fell into the pit of hell… And although the
Pharisees claimed to be faithful to the Scriptures,
they themselves were guilty of crucifying Christ…
[...] Popes Tell Us!
When did Our Lady of Fatima come? When was
She predicted in Sacred Scripture?
Well we have two Popes in the last thirty-seven
years telling us that it is Our Lady of Fatima who is
indicated in Chapter 12 verse 1 of the Apocalypse.
Both Popes clearly indicate that it is Our Lady of
Fatima that fulfilled the prophecy that is contained
in Chapter 12 verse 1 of the Apocalypse. Now where
do we find these statements of the Popes? We find
it first of all in the opening paragraph of Paul VI’s
encyclical Signum magnum, which translated from
the Latin is “Great Sign”; and in Latin, Ch. 12, verse
1 of the Apocalypse starts off “Signum magnum
apparuit in caelo” — that is, “A great sign appeared
in the Heavens.” And Paul VI clearly does not define
or say that this is absolutely Our Lady of Fatima, but
he clearly wants to suggest that it is. Moreover, John
Paul II also gave the same indication, and I think
even more forcefully, in his sermon at Fatima on May
13, 2000. There, he made the same suggestion, but
he was even more definitive about it. It’s most
noteworthy that the two Popes who have gone to
Fatima [Ed:at time of writing - Pope Benedict has also
been to Fatima, and Pope Francis is scheduled to visit
to mark the centenary of the apparitions.] have made
it their business to suggest, to state, to indicate, that
Our Lady of Fatima’s appearance is the fulfillment
of the biblical prophecy of Chapter 12 of St. John’s
book of biblical prophecy.
If it really is the fulfillment of the biblical prophecy,
then the argument could be made that it’s not just a
public prophetic revelation, which I will explain to
you in a moment, but it is, in fact, part of the Deposit
St John Ogilvie SJ
Feast: 10 March
of Faith…I do not say that this position is definitive that would take the true Magisterium, more exactly,
the Pope to make a solemn pronouncement
intending to bind the whole Catholic Church to this
position, to make it binding on all Catholics
Public Prophetic Revelation
The next theological position is that the Message of
Fatima is not a private revelation, nor is it part of the
Deposit of Faith, but it nevertheless carries with it
the solemn obligation — before God and man — to
believe it, to obey it as well as to defend it and
advance it to the extent of our power and possibilities.
Even if the previously outlined position that “Fatima
is in the Bible” turns out not to be defined by a future
Pope at a future date; nevertheless, we are still
obliged to believe and obey the Fatima Message and
requests.
This third position is a clear answer to the false
statement that “Fatima is only a private revelation”.
As we shall see, this third position is based on
Sacred Scripture and on right reason [and is, simply]
that the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Message of Fatima is
a public, prophetic revelation. And this is a position
that has been elucidated more completely by better
theologians than myself. You will find among them
Bishop Graber of Germany, who tells us that those
who say that Fatima is a private revelation that can
be ignored are wrong. You’ll find the same position
held by Father Joseph de Ste. Marie, a Carmelite
theologian who taught in Rome. He also quotes other
theologians who maintain that those who say that
Fatima is just a private revelation and one need not
pay attention to it, are badly mistaken. A private
revelation, strictly speaking, is a message to an
individual from God or a saint that he is bound to
believe [but that] no one else can verify, [and so] no
one else would be bound to believe.
Fatima is Public
But Fatima is not unverifiable, and it’s not a message
for one individual. It’s a public message given to the
whole Church and verified by a public miracle and
public prophecies. And the consequences of ignoring
the requests of Our Lady of Fatima are catastrophic.
Fatima is a public, prophetic revelation, and as such,
once the Church has examined it and found it worthy
of belief, Natural Law and Sacred Scripture tell us
what we must do. In 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21, St.
Paul writes “Do not extinguish the spirit. Do not
despise prophecies. But test all things and hold fast
that which is good.” … It is what Sister Lucy in her
famous interview with Father Fuentes spoke about:
To refuse the known truth is a sin against the Holy
Spirit. God has given the evidence that the Message
of Fatima comes from Him.
The above is taken from‘The Church's Obligation
to Believe and Obey Our Lady of Fatima’ by
Fr Nicholas Gruner, R.I.P.[Emphases added]. To

Athanasius on
Bishop John Keenan Enemy of the Faith
The “witness walk” is an ecumenical
event including Catholics, which is
forbidden by the Church because it is
religious truth mixed with error. When
Catholics walk alongside Protestants
the message being sent is that all Christian denominations are equally true and blessed by God. We
know by the infallible dogma, however, that this is
false and illusory. No matter how well intentioned
this walk may be, God does not bless Protestantism
nor use Protestantism as a means of salvation.
That’s a divinely revealed truth, not a personal assessment.
Ecumenism is much more than “counterproductive”.
It is counter-truth and destructive of souls. So say
the Popes before Vatican II.

Catholic Awareness

Given the spineless apostates who
govern the Church in modern times,
it is more likely that they would
sponsor a “Catholic-Bashing Week”
or a “Catholic Surrender Week” than
anything remotely connected with “Catholic
Awareness.”
But even in the unlikely event that they did promote
a Catholic Awareness Week, what sort of awareness
would that be? Certainly nothing we would recognize
as Catholic. No, it would be the Pope Francis
version, promoting Communion for public adulterers,
religious indifference and atheism, homosexuality,
environmental extremism, open borders, female
deacons, married priests, and the full Marxist agenda
of the United Nations.
Given that recipe for disaster, maybe we should
promote a Catholic Awareness Week ourselves!

Fake News!
Sr Lucia: Russia has been consecrated!
Despite the self-evident fact that there is anything
but peace in the world, but, rather, wars all over the
place, and despite that other self-evident fact that
Russia has not converted to the Catholic religion,
some Fatima organisations claim that Pope John
Paul II did consecrate Russia in his several world
consecrations. And more, they claim that Sister Lucy
confirmed this. The opposite is true. In September,
1985, asked about Pope John Paul II’s 1984
consecration of the world in an interview in Sol de
Fatima magazine, a publication of friends of the
Spanish Blue Army, Sister Lucy affirms that the
Consecration of Russia still has not been done
correctly because Russia was not the object of the
1984 ceremony and because all the Catholic bishops
of the world did not participate. On July 20, 1987
outside her convent, en route to vote in the election
then taking place, Sister Lucy confirms to journalist
Enrico Romero that the Consecration of Russia has
not been done.
July, 1989: Father Messias Coelho reveals that
Sister Lucy and others had received an anonymous
“instruction” from unidentified persons in the Vatican
stating that she and they must now affirm that the
Consecration of Russia was accomplished on March
25, 1984. Then, August - November 1989, three
computer-generated and typewritten notes and
letters supposedly signed by Sister Lucy, who has
handwritten all her previous correspondence,
suddenly appear. These texts, purportedly
contradicting her previous statements that the
Consecration of Russia has not been done, are
quickly proven to be fakes in analyses published
throughout the Catholic world by the Fatima Center.
Two more fake letters appear between January and
July 1990.
On October 11 1990 Sister Lucy’s sister, Carolina,
reveals that Sister Lucy does not even know how to
type and advises not to pay attention to these bogus
typed letters.
Fake news? You betcha!
The Pope has to command, order, and
request every single bishop in union
with him to publicly and solemnly
consecrate Russia (and only Russia)
by name and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in his
own respective cathedral, on the same established
day and at the same established hour, and to do this
consecration under threat of immediate and
automatic (Latae Sententiae) suspension for the case
of a defective execution of this command, order, and
request.
When I consider that Father Gruner [was] threatened
with excommunication for preaching Our Lady's
message and for pursuing his canonically granted
rights, I believe the above mentioned penalty of
suspension to be too lenient, it might serve the
practical purpose, however.

Sr Lucia: Third Secret Has Been Revealed!
two parts: one concerns the Pope. The other,
logically—although I must say nothing—would have
to be the continuation of the words: In Portugal the
dogma of the Faith will always be preserved.” The
vision published in 2000 concerns the Pope, but it
contains no continuation of the Virgin’s words, nor
any words of the Virgin at all. Her words must,
therefore, be found in the other text of 25 lines, which
has yet to be published.
At a press conference on June 26, 2000, the Vatican
publishes the 62-line text of the vision of the “Bishop
dressed in White” interpreting it as depicting the
1981 assassination attempt [on the life of Pope John
Paul II] despite the fact that Pope John Paul II was
not killed! Yet, still there are some who insist that
that during the Vatican Press Conference of 2000
the entirety of the Third Secret was revealed.
What is generally called the "Third Secret" is, in
actuality, the third and final part of the full prophetic
Secret which the Blessed Virgin gave to three child
seers on July 13, 1917. The other two sections of
the Secret (the vision of hell and the rise of
Communist Russia) were publicly revealed with the
publication of Sister Lucy’s Memoirs in the 1940s,
the final part of the revelation remains in the
possession of the Vatican and has not yet been
disclosed to the world.
In 1944, Sister Lucy commits two related texts of the
Third Secret to paper - one text, spanning 62 lines
on four pages of notebook paper, presents the vision
the Vatican will publish in 2000 in which a scene is
described where “a bishop dressed in white” is “killed
by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows
at him” while the other text, comprising 25 lines on
a single page, as attested by Bishop Dom João
Venancio, and much later by Cardinal Ottaviani, has
yet to be revealed. The Secret is contained in two
sealed envelopes of differing dimensions, on each
of which Sister Lucia writes: “By express order of
Our Lady, this envelope can only be opened in 1960.”
1995: In a personal communication to Professor
Baumgartner in Salzburg, Austria, Cardinal Mario Luigi
Ciappi - the personal theologian of John Paul II (and of the
four popes before him) - reveals that “In the Third Secret it
is foretold, among other things, that the great apostasy in
the Church will begin at the top.”
On September 2, 1952 Pius XII sends Father
Joseph Schweigl to Coimbra, Portugal to interrogate
Sister Lucy concerning the Third Secret. Father
Schweigl later confides to one of his colleagues: “I
cannot reveal anything of what I learned at Fatima
concerning the Third Secret, but I can say that it has

News Round-Up
Bishop John
Keenan of Paisley:
Enemy of the Faith
The following advertisement on the Diocese of
Paisley website was discussed on our blog:
Sunday, April 23, 2017, 4:00 PM Location: St Mirin’s
Cathedral, Paisley.
Pause For Hope Ecumenical Prayer Service For all
those affected by Cancer.
Bishop John Keenan, Rev Maureen Leitch
Guest Speaker Mr Tony Fitzpatrick, Player, Manager
and now CEO of St Mirren Football Club END.
The point was made that the Bishop would have a
hard time explaining to Catholic girls why they can’t
be priests when they see a Protestant woman
dressed up like a priest, sitting beside him in the
sanctuary, during a service in his cathedral.
We also discussed how Bishop Keenan could justify
not only ignoring the following quote from Pope Pius
IX (below) repeating perennial Catholic dogmatic
condemnations of such ecumenical events, but how
he could remove the quote after a Catholic Truth
blogger posted it on his Facebook page:
“You well know, Beloved Sons and Venerable
Brethren, that among the many deplorable evils
which disturb and afflict principally the ecclesiastical
and civil society, two stand out in our day and are
justly considered to be the origin of the others.
In effect, you are aware of the innumerable and fatal
damages which the terrible error
of Indifferentism causes to
Christian and civil society. It
causes us to forget our duties to
God in Whom we live and act
and have our being. It causes
us to lose our concern about our
Holy Religion and destroys
almost to the very foundation all
law, justice, and virtue.
There is little difference between this most vile form
of indifference and the demonic system of
indifference between the different religions.
According to this system, those who have strayed
from the truth, who are enemies of the true Faith and
forget their own salvation, and who teach
contradictory beliefs which never had stable doctrine,
admit no distinction among the different creeds.
Rather, they make a pact with everyone, and defend
that the haven of eternal salvation is open to the
followers of all religions, whatever they might be.
They do not care about the diversity of their doctrines
as long as they agree to combat the one that is the
unique truth.
You see, Beloved Sons and Venerable Brethen, how
much vigilance is needed to keep the disease of this
terrible evil from infecting and miserably killing your
flocks. Do not cease to diligently defend your people
against these pernicious errors. ” (Pope Pius IX,
Encyclical Singulari quidem §§ 3-4)
Clearly, Bishop Keenan (right) is to be
counted among those “enemies of the
Faith” identified by Pius IX - and every
other pre-Vatican II pontiff in the history
of the Church. NO popes prior to Vatican
II, preached against the dogma Outside
the Catholic Church there is no salvation.
Pieta Prayer Book:
Dangerous Doctrine
The popular blue Pieta prayer book, published by
DM Publications, Ireland, includes a piece on a very
dodgy alleged private revelation to an obscure
woman called Mutter Vogel. Allegedly, Our Lord told
her that “One should NEVER attack a priest, even
when he’s in error, rather one should pray and do
penance that I’ll grant him My grace again. He alone
fully represents Me, even when he doesn’t live after
My example!”1 The alleged revelation continues for
some time in the same vein but we needn’t repeat
it here, because (a ) we are not obliged to believe
private revelations, even those approved by the
Church - and contrary to the impression given in the
Pieta prayer book, the alleged Mutter Vogel
revelations have never been approved (b) the
content of these alleged words of Our Lord,
contradict both Scripture and Tradition, so they
cannot be from Christ.
In fact, Our Lord Himself warned us to beware of
false shepherds so He clearly expects us to use our
intelligence, and our critical faculty, to discern true
from false shepherds.
Great saints have criticised priests. St Paul criticised
the first pope, Peter, “because he was to be blamed”
(Galatians 2:11-13) while the letters of the
laywoman, St Catherine of Siena, now a Doctor of
the Church, to the popes of her day, contain
hard-hitting criticisms of priests:“…Uproot in the
garden of Holy Church the malodorous [evil
smelling] flowers, full of impurity and avarice,
swollen with pride: that is, the bad priests and rulers
who poison and rot that garden.”2
We suggest that readers who use the Pieta prayer
book replace it with a more trustworthy text. ‘How
to pray always’ by Fr Raoul Plus, SJ is available to
order on the traditional Angelus Press website3, and
is advertised as follows: Christ urges us to pray
without ceasing, but when we
try to do so, many of us simply
cease without praying! We're
distracted by troubles or duty or
we quit just because we're tired.
Fr. Plus dispels false notions of
prayer and shows how we really
can pray without ceasing - even
when exhaustion cripples us
and cares threaten to sweep us
away. How we can recollect
ourselves, so that once we begin to pray, our
prayers will be richer and more productive; how to
practice interior silence habitually; and he explains
each of the kinds of prayer and shows when we
should - and should not - employ each.
None of us at Catholic Truth has read this prayer
book so we do not know if it includes your favourite
prayers; we do, however, urge you to replace your
Pieta prayer book with something purchased from
a reliable traditional source, as soon as possible.

What The Papers Say
Scottish Catholic Observer, 7 April, 2017 report
headlined: Academics criticise ‘suspect’ study of
Catholic schools - Humanist society-funded study
claimed religious ethos of schools ‘has no impact’
on attainment…
“Leading academics have questioned an ‘extremely
suspect’ report that suggested there is little academic
difference between Catholic and non-denominational
schools in Scotland. The report…claims that there
is essentially no difference between denominational
and non-denominational schools in Scotland in
regards to levels of literacy, numeracy and numbers
of pupils getting three Highers…” End of Extract.
This study is comic-tragic because it demonstrates
just how clueless is the “humanist” community who
defend the report, as if it matters.
Whether or not Catholic schools are academically
comparable to non-denominational schools, or are
better or worse than non-denominational schools in
terms of academic attainment is irrelevant to the
question of their justification. Their justification
stands or falls on “faith” grounds: that is, whether or
not they are doing what they were built to do provide a means of passing on the Catholic religion
to pupils, in a systematic manner, as the Church
requires, in order that the young people may be
educated with a coherent Catholic world-view. Now,
that is just not happening in Catholic schools today.
Focus on that fact and the humanists have a case
to argue that a separate system of education for
Catholics today is not justifiable.
Catholic schools which, for example, participate in
Islamic Awareness Week, are about as “Catholic” as
your nearest Imam who, of course, is busy
welcoming Scots into “the faith”: Glasgow Central
Mosque alone is now seeing more than 200 Scots a
year 'revert'… Reversion is the preferred term within
Islam for those who 'convert' - as Muslims believe
everyone is born believing in Allah.1
Now, if Muslims believe that everyone is born
believing in Allan, you don’t need to be a world class
theologian to work out that Muslims seek
conversions (or “reversions”) with the same urgency
that the rest of us seek a glass of water on a hot day.
That the clueless “Catholic educators” in the
archdiocesan offices in Glasgow, and schools’ senior
management staff, blithely hand over impressionable
Catholic youngsters to be effectively proselytised
into Islam is testimony to their own culpable
ignorance. No wonder Islam is the fastest growing
religion in the world: While the world’s population is
projected to grow 32% in the coming decades, the
number of Muslims is expected to increase by 70%
– from 1.8 billion in 2015 to nearly 3 billion in 2060.
In 2015, Muslims made up 24.1% of the global
population. Forty-five years later, they are expected
to make up more than three-in-ten of the world’s
people (31.1%).2
The current policy of encouraging young Catholics
to criticise the Church on all fronts, while viewing
Islam through rose-coloured spectacles, is diabolical.
Young people of school age are idealistic, and highly
impressionable. Failing to teach the Catholic Faith
thoroughly and faithfully, while exposing pupils to the
proselytism of false religions will end badly for all
concerned. And that for all eternity.

Your Problems Answered
Aunt Evangeline
Mary in Paisley writes…
I keep meeting people who say the world
consecrations are sufficient for the consecration of
Russia, since Russia is in the world. How can I
answer that?
Aunt Evangeline replies…
Well, first up, to read details of the claims
that Russia has been consecrated, see
p.11, ‘Fake News - Sr Lucia: Russia has
been consecrated!’
If a world consecration were
sufficient to convert Russia, Our
Lady would have asked for a
world consecration. She asked,
specifically, for the consecration of Russia,
explaining that the request for the solemn public
Consecration of Russia by the Pope and all the
Catholic bishops is a request made by God
Himself. At Tuy Our Lady said to Lucy: "The
moment has come when God asks the Holy Father
to make, in union with all the bishops of the world,
the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart."
For almost 1,000 years the rejection of God’s most
holy will and the rejection of God Himself has been
escalating. In 1054 A.D. the Orthodox schism started
when they said "yes" to God, "yes" to Christ, "yes"
to His Church, but "no" to the Pope, the Vicar of
Jesus Christ. They do recognize him as "first among
equals", but do not recognize his primacy of
jurisdiction over all the Patriarchs, Cardinals, and
bishops of the Church.
In 1517 Martin Luther said "yes" to God, "yes" to
Christ, "no" to the Catholic Church and "no" to the
Pope. He claimed to have fidelity to God and Our
Lord, but rejected the Church. Yet, it is impossible
to remain faithful to Christ while rejecting His Bride,
the Church.
In 1717 Freemasonry said "yes" to God, "no" to
Christ, "no" to the Catholic Church and "no" to the
Pope. They claimed to acknowledge God (not the
true God, but their own conception of God), but no
longer wanted Christ and His Church. Again, it is
impossible to serve God while rejecting His Son: "I
and the Father are one," Our Lord said.
In 1917 Lenin said "no" to God, Christ, the Catholic
Church and the Pope. With communism, we see the
culmination of what was begun with the Orthodox
schism and the Lutheran heresy: the bold rejection
of not only the Catholic Church, but also the rejection
of Jesus Christ and even the very notion of an
Almighty God. The Consecration of Russia will
reverse the upheaval and revolt against God begun
by the Orthodox schism of 1054, furthered by
Luther’s heresy of sola scriptura, added to by the
apostasy of Freemasonry and intensified by
Communism.1 I hope this answers your question.

Fatima & Islam
Taken from
Fatima, Islam & Our Lady’s Coming Triumph
a pamphlet published by the Fatima Center, Canada
by Matt Gaspers
Understanding what was going on in the world
(specifically in Russia and the Islamic world) when
Our Lady appeared helps shed light on the reasons
why Our Lord sent His Blessed Mother to appear
when and where she did. It also gives us deeper
insight into the prophetic message she came to
deliver, and its vital importance for our times.
It was May of 1917 and Europe was entrenched,
literally, in the First World War. The assassination of
Archduke Franz Ferdinand (1863-1914), a member
of the Catholic Hapsburg royal family and heir to the
Austro-Hungarian imperial throne, in the summer of
1914 triggered the engagement of an elaborate
network of alliances between the major European
powers. When Austria declared war on Serbia
(whose leaders had aided and abetted the Bosnian
Serb nationalist assassins), Russia stood with Serbia
(a fellow Slavic nation), which in turn prompted
Germany (an ally of Austria) to declare war on
Russia. France and England were allied with Russia,
while Italy initially sided with the Austrian and
German empires. Tragically, each side of the conflict
confidently assumed they would win in a matter of
weeks, but the war devolved into a nightmarish
stalemate that dragged on for months, then years.
In the midst of this seemingly hopeless situation,
Pope Benedict XV invoked Our Lady, Queen of
Peace, and exhorted all the faithful to implore her
intercession. Eight days later, she appeared at
Fatima to deliver Heaven’s plan for peace.1
In Russia, Tsar Nicholas II had formally abdicated in
March of 1917 after more than a decade of decline
in popularity and power, thus bringing an end to the
Romanov dynasty and Christian monarchy in Russia.
The intellectual and spiritual cancer known as
Marxist Communism had been spreading in the
minds and hearts of Russia’s working class, primarily
due to the efforts of two socialist
groups: the Mensheviks and
Bolsheviks. By the end of 1917, the
more radical and violent Bolsheviks
(led by Vladimir Lenin) had won the
power struggle, seized control of the
government, and began the long process of
enslaving the Russian people under Communism.
One of the primary themes of the great Secret given
by Our Lady of Fatima was her warning that Russia
would “spread her errors” if her requests were not
heeded. This is precisely what happened throughout
the 20t century and is continuing to happen today.
And south of Russia, in the Islamic
Ottoman Empire, the first genocide
of the 20 century had been
underway for just over two years
when Our Lady appeared. Beginning
in April of 1915, the Turkish
government instituted a systematic
deportation and mass murder of the Armenian
people, a campaign designed to exterminate one of
the oldest Christian nations on earth,2 one very
similar to the genocide currently being perpetrated
by ISIS.3
At a time when Christian men, women and children
were being forcibly removed from their homes,
dispossessed, and either executed or starved to
death by their Muslim overlords, God sent the
Immaculate Virgin to Fatima, a small Portuguese
village with a striking connection to Islam.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen, in his book-length
reflection on Our Lady called The World’s First Love
(originally published in 1952) recounts how, during
the medieval Reconquista of Spain and Portugal
from the occupying forces:
…the last Muslim chief had a beautiful daughter by
the name of Fatima [named after a daughter of
Mohammed himself]. A Catholic boy fell in love with
her, and for him she not only stayed behind when
the Muslims left, but even embraced the Faith. The
young husband was so much in love with her that he
changed the name of the town where he lived to
Fatima. Thus, the very place where Our Lady
appeared in 1917 bears an historical connection to
Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad.4
Russia & Islam
In terms of ideology, it makes perfect sense that
Russia would want to partner with the Islamic world
to further its own agenda. Obviously, they disagree
about the existence of God but they share common
enemies, most notably Christ’s
Church…
St John Bosco
In the prophetic visions of St John
Bosco we see that the Pope will
not consecrate Russia until Russia
invades the West. He summarises
his dream: “Salvation is from the
North, danger is from the South” meaning the Islamic
armies that are marching into Europe. The Russians
stay there when they are converted, and defeat the
Islamic armies and save Europe.
This is why we must continue to pray and petition
the Holy Father for the explicit, collegial consecration
of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Diabolical Disorientation…
Persecution of Priest For Defending Faith; Punishment of Pro-Lifers For Defending Life
Archdiocese of Southwark: Fr Mark Higgins
(pictured below) banned from Wonersh Seminary
for being “divisive”…
Some time ago, a reader in England sent us links to
impressive sermons on YouTube delivered by a
young priest of the Archdiocese of Southwark named
Fr Mark Higgins, which we posted on our blog for the
edification of our readers online – the feedback was
very positive indeed.1
We now learn that Fr Higgins is being persecuted
for his orthodoxy, having been banned by the
seminary rector of Wonersh, Fr Brian Coyle, from
even attending the seminary, for fear of his orthodox
influence over the students.
Fr Higgins offered to take the seminary students out
for a meal in the Christmas period. He planned to
go to the seminary, take the students out and then
stay overnight. At the Southwark students’ meeting
the student leader mentioned this to the others in
order to find out who wanted to attend the outing. Fr.
Brian Coyle, rector, was in attendance and he
immediately put a halt to the conversation. He then
phoned Fr Higgins to instruct him not to take the
students out, and not to visit the seminary or stay at
the seminary in any private or social capacity.
Our source tells us that the rector does not want Fr
Higgins to have any influence over the students
because he is “divisive” and this is due to the fact
that Fr Higgins has [along with a a majority of the
world’s informed Catholic population, take note]
criticized some of the teachings of Pope Francis.
Also, because he suggested in a Day with Mary
sermon2 that "seminaries have sometimes thrown
out good men"3
By exception, Fr Coyle said, Fr Higgins may attend
the seminary if there is a large public function taking
place, such as an ordination to which he is invited,
but on condition that he does not arrive early, stay
beyond the duration of the function, or stay overnight.
Since Fr Higgins lives two and a half hours from the
seminary, these restrictions essentially mean that he
cannot attend such public functions, even if he
receives an invitation.
As if the above were not bad enough, according to
sources, the students feel the need to ask the rector
even to attend any event at which Fr Higgins may be
present.
Catholic Truth is reliably informed that it is generally
believed that, privately, Fr Brian Coyle has been
pushing for the archbishop [Peter Smith] to censure
Fr Higgins in some way, but the archbishop did not
take this action. He has however, unconscionably,
accepted the rector’s decision to ban Fr Higgins from
the seminary. The students are all aware of the
situation, as are many priests of Southwark diocese
– word has spread, and we hope, by this report, to
make it spread even further.
I emailed Fr Brian Coyle to ask for his comment,
promising to include any comment, or lack thereof,
in this report – an extract follows: Since Fr. Mark
Higgins is a priest of the [Archdiocese of] Southwark,
and in good standing, I would be interested to know
what possible justification you can offer for banning
him since the content of his sermons on the videos
posted on our blog reveal him to be a sound Catholic
priest (something of a rarity these days). My source
tells me that you view Fr Higgins as a source of
division which can only be the case if you, the rector,
do not hold to the teaching of the Church. Nobody
who accepts the truths of the Faith as handed down
to us from the apostles and expounded by Fr Higgins
could possibly regard him as “divisive”.
In gathering information for this story I was also
informed separately about some other individuals at
the seminary, or former students of the seminary,
who have either been dismissed or mistreated due
to their orthodoxy. I have even heard that clergy have
written to you with concern over a perceived
persecution of orthodoxy now taking place at
Wonersh. END.
We are withholding further details about the other
instances of the persecution of orthodoxy at
Wonersh, to avoid causing further difficulty for those
involved at this time. But, watch this space. Do I
really need to add that Fr Brian Coyle did NOT reply
to my email? I contacted Archbishop Peter Smith for
his comment, but received no reply from him either.
My email to Father Mark Higgins, however, elicited
the following cautious response: Whilst I cannot deny
that your report is factually correct, I don't wish to
add any further comment.
We will be following this situation closely, and will
hopefully publish an update in our July edition. For
more commentary on this scandal, see p.16.

Abortion: Planned
Parenthood in USA
- EVIL
Diabolical disorientation doesn’t
come more shocking than what is
revealed in this doctor’s
conversation with an undercover
reporter…
“We have people who do our paperwork for the
fetal death certificates, they email us calling them
'babies.' Baby-this, baby-that, baby so-in-so, and
I’m like, that’s creepy,” the abortionist, [Dr Deshawn
Taylor], noted.
Translation: It's not cool that a baby actually looks
like a baby when we kill it, so we’ll just carve it up to
make the whole thing easier to pass off.
Editor
As this twisted conversation continues, the
abortionist also casually alludes to killing babies
[who] are born alive after a botched abortion. “If the
fetus comes out alive, we’re supposed to transport
it to the hospital,” Taylor explained on tape. “The
thing is…I mean, the key is, you need to pay
attention to who’s in the room,” she said. “Because
the thing is, the law states you’re not supposed to
do any manoeuvres after the fact to try to cause
demise. So it’s really tricky.”
Then, [casually] the woman explains how she usually
injects digoxin into the unborn baby in late-term
abortion procedures, which uses a chemical
compound to induce a fetal heart attack and, usually,
kills the child prior to the abortion. If a baby isn’t
injected with digoxin – i.e., if the infant is still alive
and well at the time he or she is systematically
dismantled using all manner of heinous instruments
– the abortionist adds she just has to put a little more
muscle behind it: “It’s in the biceps,” Taylor said. “It
takes more force… Aborting a “breech” baby is
easier, provided you crush the baby’s head first”, she
added.
In case you’re missing the whole point of this
insanity, I’ll spell it out in plain English: This, right
here, is the very definition of evil.

Undercover Reporters [Note:
not ‘Planned Parenthood’] Are
Charged with 15 Felony Counts
- i.e. Serious Crimes…
This investigation was launched by pro-abortion
hack, Kamala Harris, then attorney general of
California and longtime recipient of Planned
Parenthood lucre, who parlayed her persecution of
David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress
- replete with a police raid of Daleiden’s home in
search of undercover footage - into a U.S. Senate
seat last November. Harris even took the extra step
of collaborating with Planned Parenthood to draft
new legislation that would make secretly recording
medical-care providers a distinct crime.
The new attorney general, Xavier Becerra decided
to drop a cool 15 felony counts on Daleiden and his
partner, Sandra Merritt, for exposing Planned
Parenthood’s possible sales of fetal body parts
because they recorded the conversations without
the subjects’ consent…* (Taken from hotair.com)

From the editor...
Dear Reader …
In his Life of Christ, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
remarks that those who entered the Garden of
Gethsemane to arrest Jesus did not recognise Him:
Who is it you want? Jesus of Nazareth, they
answered (John 18:5). They did not say “Thee” or
“Thou art the One.” It was evident that even under
the full moon they did not recognise Him. That was
why, too, they had prearranged a sign with Judas by
which they would know Him - the kiss. Strangely
enough, those who are bent on evil cannot recognise
Divinity even when it stands before them. The Light
can shine in darkness, but the darkness does not
comprehend it. It takes more than lanterns and a full
moon to perceive the Light of the World. As St Paul
explained it: ‘If indeed our gospel be found veiled,
the only people who find it so are those on the way
to perdition. Their unbelieving minds are so blinded
by the god of this passing age, that the gospel of the
glory of Christ, who is the very image of God cannot
dawn upon them and bring them light. (II Corinthians
4:3,4)1
Those of you who are asking how it is possible that
Father Brian Coyle, Rector of Wonersh Seminary
and his Archbishop, Peter Smith (see p.14) cannot
see that Father Mark Higgins is a sound priest to be
valued but, instead, consider his faithful preaching
to be “divisive”, will, I hope, recognise the answer
from the pen of Fulton Sheen, quoted above. The
same goes for those of you who are astonished at
the fact that Archbishop Tartaglia has ignored our
January report about the scandal at Sacred Heart,
together with letters written privately to him about the
ongoing situation in that parish, and the same goes
for the rest of those diabolically deceived priests and
prelates who are leading souls astray with their false
teachings and mediocre, novel, and often dangerous
“devotions” such as charismatic prayer groups.
These churchmen reek of the spiritual blindness that
is a consequence of abandoning Catholic Tradition.
Sister Lucia of Fatima: The Rosary is the prayer of
the rich and the poor, of the educated and the simple.
Take this devotion away from souls, and you take
away their spiritual daily bread. The Rosary is what
sustains the little flame of Faith that still has not been
extinguished in many consciences. Even for those
souls who pray without meditating, the very act of
taking up the Rosary to pray is already a
remembrance of God, of the Supernatural. A simple
recollection of the mysteries of each decade is one
more ray of light to sustain in souls the still
smouldering wick. This is why the devil has made
such war against it. And what is worse is that he has
succeeded in deluding and deceiving souls who have
much responsibility because of the positions they
occupy! They are the blind leading the blind! 2
It is true that Pope Francis’ shocking pontificate is
causing more and more Catholics to see, at last, that
the Church is in crisis, but even these converts to
the cause cling to the belief that until Francis, all was
well, and surely Pope Benedict must be disapproving
of his successor, just not permitted to speak out.
Seems not to be the case at all. Asked if Pope
Benedict was aware of those who see Francis’
[pontificate] in opposition to Benedict’s, Archbishop
Gänswein, personal secretary to Pope Benedict,
said: “reading the newspapers and seeing the news,
it’s not possible that Benedict doesn’t notice now and
again these contrasting positions, but he doesn’t let
such statements provoke him. He has decided to
keep quiet and stay true to this decision; he has no
intention of entering controversies that feel far away
from him." What Benedict is saying here, in effect,
is that he feels very far away from Christ, because it
is Christ who is offended by Pope Francis’ attacks
on His Church. Yet, according to Archbishop
Gänswein, Pope Benedict considers Francis “…a
nice breath of fresh air…” Eh? And as for the
controversies caused by Amoris Laetitia, Archbishop
Gänswein said Benedict “received a copy of Amoris
laetitia personally from Francis: “He read it
thoroughly, but he does not comment in any way on
the content.”3 He forgets, perhaps, that by such
silence he risks sharing in the guilt of Pope Francis.
So, not only is Benedict not being forced to remain
silent, according to his personal secretary, as the
news reports of Catholic decline mount up, but he
apparently couldn’t care less. Archbishop Gänswein
reveals, in the above interview, that Benedict doesn’t
regret his decision to resign. I hate to be a party
pooper but those lightning strikes, on the dome of St
Peter’s hours after that shock papal resignation in
2013, may portend regret to come - big-time.
Fatima Facts…

Russian
Revolution/Communism
1917-Foretold at Fatima
As we mark the centenary of the first Fatima
apparitions this month, let us acknowledge that both
the world and the Church are in crisis precisely
because successive popes have failed to obey God’s
commands to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, and to reveal the withheld text of the
Third Secret, which undoubtedly includes warnings
of the dangers to faith and liturgy, the scandals of
clergy child abuse and other sexual sins4 which
would take root in the “swinging 60’s”.5

Our Lord exhorted Sr Lucia: "Pray a great deal, for
the Holy Father. He will do it, [consecrate Russia]
but it will be late..." (see p.9, column 3). It is, thus,
imperative that we all pray for Pope Francis and for
his negligent predecessors because it is, surely, at
their feet that responsibility rests for the faithless
clergy and hierarchy of these times; for bishops who
punish faithful priests while defending those who are
immoral, cause scandal and preach heresy - and for
the geo-political world chaos. The post-Vatican II
ordained at every level face a terrible judgment. It is,
therefore, completely uncharitable to make excuses
for them: instead, actively oppose them as the false
shepherds of whom Our Lord warned, and pray for
them daily. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

Register, 12 April, 2017
4 “As for the new things which we can find in this message
today, there is also the fact that attacks on the Pope and the
Church come not only from without, but the sufferings of the
Church come precisely from within the Church, from the sin
existing within the Church… today we are seeing it in a really
terrifying way: that the greatest persecution of the Church
comes not from her enemies without, but arises from sin
within the Church…” Interview of Pope Benedict XVI with
Journalists during papal flight to Portugal, 11 May, 2010 see Vatican website.
5 In 1955, Sister Lucy told Cardinal Ottaviani that Part 3 of
the Message was not to be opened before 1960 "because then
it will "seem clearer – mais claro.” She had made the Bishop
of Fatima promise that the Secret would be read to the world
no later than 1960, "because the Blessed Virgin wishes it so."
