MYBALLARAT - FAMILIES
Playgroups
Get playing. Playgroups encourage children to have fun, learn through play and
develop new skills. Parents also benefit through the exchange of parenting ideas,
gaining valuable support and making friends.
Ballarat is home to many playgroups; some offered through Maternal and
Child Health Centres and others at primary schools and churches. There are
also Connecting Schools and Communities playgroups (CSC) and supported
playgroups run with professional facilitators.
Find the one that’s right for you or start your own playgroup.
For more information, call the City’s Playgroup Coordinator on 5320 5682.
