APPLE PIE
Cake:
• 3 glasses of flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1 glass of caster sugar
• 1 vanilla sugar
• 250 g of cold butter vegetable (butter or margarine )
• 4 eggs
Apples:
• 2 kg of apples (preferably russet or Antonówka)
• about 12 teaspoons of sugar
• 1 vanilla sugar
• 5 to 10 grams of raisins
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Preparation:
1. Peel the apples, cut into small pieces and together with the sugar and vanilla sugar lightly fry, so that it
doesn't disintegrate. Add raisins and cinnamon.
2. Sift flour with baking powder directly on the cutting board, add 3/4 glass sugar, vanilla sugar and butter. all
chop with knife. Add 3 egg yolks and 1 whole egg. Knead the dough quickly and divide into 2 parts. Wrap in
foil and place in the fridge for an hour.
3. Roll out one portion of dough directly on the baking paper and they translate into a rectangular mold. Put
into the fridge. The whites of 3 eggs beat on foam, then gradually add the rest of the (1/4 glass) sugar,
whisking constantly, until the foam is stiff and glossy.
4. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. The form of the dough remove from the fridge, put apples. Beat foam of
the whites of eggs.. On top lay a second part of the rolled-out cake.
5. Put into the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour. After baking, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
BIGOS
Ingredients:










75 decagrams of sauerkraut
Knuckle
2 pieces of bay leaves and pimento
75 decagrams of white cabbage
1 onion
10 decagrams of dried dipped earlier mushrooms
Meat-ham cut into cubes
2 spoons of tomato paste
Salt, pepper to taste
2 glasses of dry red wine

Chop sauerkraut.
Add to the pan together with the bay leaf and pimento.
Boil knuckle .
Cut white cabbage finely and cook for 10 minutes.
Chop the onion and fry in a frying pan.
Finely chopping pre-soaked dried mushrooms add to the fried onion - simmer.
Strain the cabbage and add the drained water from the mushrooms to the pot.
Add white cabbage, mushrooms , onion to the pot. Cook.
Cut the meat into various pieces and fry in a pan.
Add sauerkraut and meat to the pot.
Cut knuckle and add to the pot. Also add 2 teaspoons of tomato paste.
At the end add salt and pepper and dry wine. Cook for a few minutes.
