SPRING TERM 2017
All sorts of strange events have been happening in
Musbury school this week, puddles of water in
strange places, and class 1 was in a real mess after
what they think was a visit by a friendly dinosaur.
The plot thickens and everyone is investigating what
could have happened!
Outdoor learning has been based around bird
watching and encouraging birds into the
environment, we have had some beautiful days for
this too.
Class 1 Learning
A rampaging dinosaur was on the loose in Class
1 this week! We were shocked to find our classroom had been turned upside down and our
outside area was very messy. Investigations are
ongoing, but we have tried making the dinosaur
cinnamon bread to see if he was grumpy because he was hungry! By the time you read the
newsletter we will have done our post topic assessment for Maths and be ready for something
new next week. We have enjoyed finding out
about fossils for our explanation text, which we
will begin to write on Monday.
There are plans a foot to raise money and
investigate the options for getting the covered area Mrs Johns
for KS1. If any body has any helpful input on this
regarding possibilities for funding /grant ideas
Class 2 Learning
please let me know asap.
Class 2 have been busy making and investigating

learning a new skill. With the help of Mrs Leach,
numbers for September are looking positive too!
we also carried out two experiments. The children filled in tables and took readings of time

Mrs Vanstone

The School Day
The school day starts at 8.30am. All children should
be in their class settled and ready to learn for this
time. The door is opened at 8.20am to give the children time to settle and be ready to start the day at
8.30am. Any child arriving after 8.30am will be
marked as arriving late for school and will potentially
disrupt those children that are ready to learn.
