These courses combine a 90 minute Introductory session followed by home study using a flash drive / memory stick with 20 Topic sessions and then a half-day wrap-up session. Participants attend a Scouts Canada camping facility for the full weekend and get to enjoy training in a mixed indoor and outdoor setting. Child care may be offered. Lets you take a partial or full Wood Badge I course at your own pace on your own computer. Go to myscouts.ca, log in, click on Training button on top bar, then on David Huestis Learning Centre (New e-Learning Platform). After you complete all 4 modules of a Wood Badge 1, your Area Commissioner will be notified within about 2weeks and will arrange for presentation to you of your training certificate and, for your first Wood Badge earned, a woven leather Wood Badge woggle.
