Field: 2 BALLs & dolls Ref: Kick Tease recaps Live Let Die vs. Big Swinging Kicks BIG SWINGING KICKS - We narrowly managed to avoid a forfeit and pull off a win with only 3 offensive innings. Major thanks goes to Liver Let Die for being such good sports. Hoping we can extend our winning streak to 5 this Thursday against a tough KYPOAL team. Liver let die - Team could not be reached for comment Pitches Be Crazy vs. Kickbutkus kickbutkus - WTF PBC - Team could not be reached for comment Balls & Dolls vs. Keep Your Pitch on a Leash BALLS & DOLLS- Team could not be reached for comment KYPOAL - There was nothing pretty about KYPOALs win vs B&D this past week, except for the ladies on both the teams of course. KYPOAL had enough players for this one, so we started off on a high. B&D quickly took away our high and sent us into withdrawals by scoring 2 runs in the first and another in the second to make it 3-0. Holy Chode! We were stunned, shocked, and flaccid... but no tsober! We immediately gave a 1 run answer, then added 2 more in the 5th. When we peered through our beer goggles at the top of the 6th its was all nutted up 3-3. Time was against us, but we maintained our stamina by reciting kickball stats in our head, and in the top of the sixth it paid off as Jenny Cannon crossed home plate to give us the lead. There were so many highs and lows at this point it was an emotional rollercoaster, like mixing redbull with alcohol. We were panicked, since there wasn’t much time left, and the other team still had to kick, else it would revert back to a tie. Beer saved our lives that night, since the stress and suspense of the final inning would have likely killed a sober man. With the seconds ticking down, B&D went 3 up, 3 down to give KYPOAL a relieving win. Gold Balls go to Damian for pitching a shut out after the second inning, John for coming in late and making some great plays on O and D. Anthony for stepping up at third when Steve pulled his taint, Zack for turning on the afterburners in his base running, Kory G for handling the lead off position like a champ, and of course, Jenny C for the go ahead run. Great win pitches! Kaimotion vs. The Foot Clan FOOT CLAN - Well….We lost kaimotion – Team could not be reached for comment. Homeplate Hustlers vs. Rubber Busters RB - Team could not be reached for comment HOMEPLATE HUSTLERS -Great team effort against a very experienced team. Pre game party was awesome, our team is awesome, and Carver’s second over the fence homerun was awesome. Need we say more? Kick Tease vs. Ballbusters KICK TEASE– Team could not be reached for comment Ballbusters-Team could not be reached for comment 1 Kaimotion Surprise, surprise, they win again. Kaimotion easily dealt Foot Clan their second loss of the season. Can anyone stop the Pink train? It appears they can’t be stopped right now. With two games left against who we’re sure they consider beatable teams, It looks like they’ll be finishing the season 7-0 and getting the top seed for the playoffs. Will someone step up and prove this prediction wrong? We shall see. Official League Standing: 1st 2 Homeplate Hustlers power 5 Kick tease 3 big swinging kicks 6 4 Currently on a two game skid, we had to drop this team down one in the PR’s. Both losses came to top tier teams that they possibly could beat 11 rankings 12 if they get a rematch in the playoffs. Expect the Clan to finish strong with no more losses and lock down a very good seed for playoffs. Better hope Played a tough game against a very good they aren’t on your remaining schedule. Official Rubber Buster team and came out on top. Game League Standing: 6th was never out of reach for the Busters but the Hustlers were able to let their defense control this one. Two more very good teams remain on the Hustlers schedule, will they be able to hand out Barely produced a win against a hungry the losses and lock down the 2 seed? We’re sure Kick Tease & PBC will have a say in that so we’ll Ballbuster team. Wings & Deodorant must have just have to sit back and enjoy the show…OFLS had these guys distracted from the ultimate goal of producing a W but they got it done, barely. With two Official League Standing: 2nd relatively tough games remaining on the schedule, Kick Tease will need to produce a bit more on offense to finish the season strong. Heavy representation at the bar and everyone was able to This team has slid into third and is safe!! keep their shirts on. Kick Tease is getting it done… Close call against LLD, I guess three innings of OFLS Official League Standing: 4th offense can make a difference! BSK may want to think about possibly showing up on time, it could be the difference between a 3 and 7 seed. Two fairly strong teams remain on the schedule that Had a win handed to them this week as probably won’t make “deals” or lose when the op- Kickbutkus came up short in the female column. posing team has less innings of offense. Will BSK PBC actually produced 3 wins at once this week be able to field players and finish their season by winning their game, Theme King Sean Joyal strong as the 3 seed or higher? Official League amongst them. WINNING seems to be the PBC’s Standing: 3rd motto this week. Will they keep the trend alive a get a trifecta next week? Official League Standing: 5th THE FOOT CLAN sit this one out. Kickbutkus definitely has some winnable games on their remaining schedule; can they find a way to produce some wins? Official League Standing: 10th 7 pitches be crazy Rubber Busters ballbusters Played probably their best game of the season versus Kick Tease. They didn’t pull out the win but gained a lot of confidence and momentum for the remaining games this season. Look for the Ballbusters to steal a win somewhere this season. Official League Standing: 11th Liver Let Die ers played some very good defense and made the Hustlers earn this win. Aaron even “busted” a ball Another loss in the kickball colthat landed on the fence in foul territory. Look for umn, another set of wins on the Flip Cup table. the Rubber Busters to bounce back from this loss, Will LLD get a win this season on the field? Two finish the season strong and cause some chaos in games left so we’ll see. We know where they will the playoffs. Official League Standing: 7th be winning for sure though, that’s on the Flip Cup table. Can anyone flip faster and take them down? Official League Standing: 12th 8 kEEP YOUR PITCH ON A LEASH Squeezed out a W against a fire hot B & D team. Solid defense, great offense and a few great plays helped this team secure the win. KYPOAL will use this win as motivation to finish the season strong and make a deep run in the playoffs. Official League Standing: 8th 9 BAlls & dolls Came out on the losing side of a nail biter last week. On the bright side, they did have a Them Queen amongst them, kudos to Katie Sutter for representing the theme to the fullest. B & D was on a two game win streak prior to this loss, watch for them to avenge their loss and pick up some steam for the playoffs. Official League Standing: 9th 10 Kickbutkus Came up short in the female column which ultimately resulted in a loss. Threat Tough loss to the Hustlers.
